    Hey Ashley. It looks like the OEM hitch on the 2025 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 has a removable receiver and built in brackets to attach wiring harnesses for towing. The 2" receiver on our etrailer item # e76AR is not removable, it does not have built in brackets but it costs 1/4 of the price. I can't help you with the removable receiver option but you can install the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket item # 18140 to have a mounting location for a wiring harness. What...

    Hello Philip, thanks for reaching out. As far as the trailer hitches for the 2020 Sprinter 2500, the wheelbase actually will not make a difference when selecting a hitch. The frame width is still the same, and that is what the hitch fitment is based on. That said, what I recommend is the etrailer Class 3 Hitch # e76AR. This has a 2" receiver, 6,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity. Keep in mind the hitch will not fit passenger vans, and will not fit models with a 30-3/8"...

    Hey Paul, yes the etrailer hitch part # e76AR does fit your 2021 Mercedes Benz 2500 144 inch wheelbase and would not interfere with your spare getting off and on easily. The brackets that attach the hitch would go around the spare and the hitch crossbeam would be offset to the rear of that area enough that there wouldn't be any issues. I attached a picture of a similar Draw Tite hitch # 75549 installed on a Sprinter like yours and it has the same design to fit around the spare.
