Will etrailer Hitch # e76AR Fit 2021 Mercedes Sprinter and Allow Access to Spare Tire

Question:
Hello, My question is: Will this hitch fit my 2021 Mercedes Sprinter 144 WB, with the spare tire mounted underneath in the rear of the vehicle? My concern is that I won’t be able to get the spare tire on and off easily. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you

Hey Paul, yes the etrailer hitch part # e76AR does fit your 2021 Mercedes Benz 2500 144 inch wheelbase and would not interfere with your spare getting off and on easily. The brackets that attach the hitch would go around the spare and the hitch crossbeam would be offset to the rear of that area enough that there wouldn't be any issues.
I attached a picture of a similar Draw Tite hitch # 75549 installed on a Sprinter like yours and it has the same design to fit around the spare.

Hey Paul, how did the fit of the etrailer hitch work out on your Sprinter with the spare tire underneath? Was there enough clearance to remove and replace the spare easily? Your update could make it easier for others with the same setup.
