You're camped way up where the air gets thin and the cold gets mean. Instead of burning watts to stay warm, fire up this portable diesel heater. It kicks out 14K Btus of cozy heat, sets up fast, and saves your battery for gear that needs it.
This heater isn't locked into one rig or one setup. Taking your build to the mountains this weekend and crashing in your buddy's van next? It comes with you. It's compact, easy to stash, and just as easy to bring along when your plans shift. Once it's fired up, managing the heat is just as simple.
If you're outside soaking up the last bit of firelight, you know the warmth won't follow you when the coals fade. Before you leave the fire, use the Bluetooth thermostat or the Velit app to bring your setup to temp. From your seat by the flames or later from your sleeping bag, you can start the heater, adjust settings, or schedule it to kick on before dawn. The smart thermostat is included, and you can use the Velit app to control from up to 100 ft away.
When the temps drop, you don't want a heater that makes you dig through manuals or wrestle with fittings. This one connects in minutes. Just snap on the magnetic air duct and plug in the dry break fuel line. It runs on diesel and works with your own gas can using the BYOC kit, or you can swap in Velit's one-gallon tank (both sold separately) for shorter runs. And with a built-in carbon monoxide sensor, it's always monitoring the output so you don't have to.
High elevation and bad weather are hard on gear, but this heater's built to handle both. It auto-adjusts as you climb, burning clean all the way up to 16,000 feet. The rugged shell resists rain and road spray, and every connection point is sealed tight to keep the heat steady in rough conditions.

Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Velit portable diesel RV heater. Now, when you're living the van life or camping off grid, the biggest challenge isn't always going to be food or power. It's gonna be staying warm without draining your battery or relying on noisy generators. That's where this diesel heater comes in.
Since this runs on diesel, you're not gonna have to be tethered to shore power or constantly worrying about refilling your propane. This is designed to be portable, efficient, and powerful enough to keep your van, RV, or camper nice and cozy, even in very cold conditions. At 14,000 BTU, this is not just giving you a little warmth. It's gonna be able to heat up your whole van or RV quickly, which is going to be huge if you've ever woken up freezing in the middle of the night. Now I want to kind of give you an overhead look here as I open this up.
Hopefully I have this in the right orientation here. And so let me move this into frame here a little bit just to show you what we have inside. So diesel heaters like this is going, they're gonna sip fuel slowly, meaning that you can run it for hours without stressing out about running out. So this is gonna be perfect for long boondocking stretches, and this one is going to connect in minutes. You're just going to snap in the fuel line.
So you have the fuel line here and you've got a quick connect, and I'm gonna go back to my closeup view here right here. So you're just going to be able to connect it just like that right there. And so you'll link the ducts to get this set up, and then you're gonna plug in the cables. And so since this runs on diesel, it's going to play nice with your own gas can using the bring your own can kit, or you can swap out Velit's one-gallon tank, which is sold separately for shorter runs. And with a built-in carbon monoxide sensor, it's always gonna be watching the air so you don't have to.
Now, this is going to auto adjust as you climb. It's going to be burning clean all the way up to 16,000 feet, and this has a really rugged shell. I think this is gonna do a great job of resisting road spray and rain, and then every connection point is going to be sealed tight to keep the heat steady in rough conditions. So again, all of our ports here have these rubber caps on here that are going to keep them nice and sealed when they're not in use. And you're gonna be able to, unlike space heaters, this isn't gonna drain your battery, so you're gonna be able to save your solar power for essentials like lights, charging, and your fridge. So whether you're in an RV or you're in a Sprinter van or even camping with a tent, you're gonna have a compact mobile heat source that's going to be able to go virtually anywhere that you go. And then you have several different ways in which you can control the heat. You can either use the remote that's included here, and then this does have an extension cord here to give you a little bit of extra length, or you can use the Bluetooth app, the Velit Bluetooth app. It's a free download for your smartphone, whether it's iOS or Android, and it does include everything that you see here. It does include a power cable here. It's about six feet long that you can plug into your, when I was a kid, you called it a cigarette lighter socket, and then you've got your six foot long rubber fuel line. I think I said already, but the power cable's about six foot as well, and then you have the thermostat. I think I called this a remote, but actually it's gonna be a remote thermostat. You've got the thermostat extension wire, air ducts, vents, and all together, this weighs about 10 pounds, but again, it's not overly heavy, but man, it's really well built. I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. So some measurements. Looking at the overall thickness, again, this is gonna be when it's closed, it's about 7 7/16 inches thick, and then the overall width, we're sitting right at about almost 16 inches wide, and then the overall, we'll call it height in this orientation, I'm gonna say about almost 15 inches tall or high. So again, this is gonna be for diesel, but we do have the same heater also available in a gasoline model as well. So if that would go better with your setup, on your screen, I am including the item number for the gasoline version. You can just take that item number, pop it in the search field on our website. That will take you to that heater instead and you can add that to your order. Instructions are also included, and then I did kind of give you quite a bit of information here, but if you happen to have any other additional questions that I did not answer for you during our time together, don't hesitate to reach back out to us. We here at etrailer.com wanna make sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
