All of the hitches we currently offer for a Jeep Liberty will fit years 2002-2007 and no other vehicles.

The trailer hitch I recommend for your 2004 Jeep Liberty is the Draw-Tite part # 75128. It's a Class-III with a 2-inch receiver. The maximum gross trailer weight is 5,000 pounds and tongue weight capacity is 500 pounds.

If you plan on doing any towing, the wiring harness kit you need is the Tow Ready # 118524. Or if you already have a factory tow package then go with Hopkins custom fit wiring # 42475. The ball mount kit I recommend is # 989900. The ball mount kit comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, pin and clip and carrying bag.
