Trailer Hitch Installation - 2005 Kia Sorento - Hitch...been reviewing installation video. Question: have you heard of any concerns about muffler banging on hitch? Second, location of hitch allows spare tire removal easily? In the process of determining what is best for our car for purchase. Already have ball, etc equipment. Last, any instructions and hardware offered for standard electrical?

I searched our customer reviews on the hitches available for the 2005 Kia Sorento and wasn't able to find any reported occurrences the exhaust rattling against the hitch for that vehicle. Hitch rattle can occur, because most vehicles use exhaust hangers and isolators that are flexible and allow the exhaust to move around a bit. If this movement allows with hitch too close to the hitch, this flexibility allows you to gently bend some of the exhaust hangers to allow for more space between the exhaust and the hitch.

I've included install photos of the Curt # C13513 and the Draw-Tite # 75516. As you can see, the Draw-Tite model do not interfere with the spare. You can also see that the exhaust isn't in super close proximity to the exhaust. I'd recommend the Draw-Tite Class III, part # 75516.

To provide a 4-pole trailer connector, I'd recommend using Curt # C55550. You can view some installation videos by clicking the provided hitch.
