Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at these InfiniteRule Locks for your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount. These flush style locking pins are going to let you completely secure your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount for your two inch hitch receiver. And the longer pins that we have back here are going to secure your ball mount platform to the adjustable shank. And the shorter pin that we have right here is going to secure the shank to your trailer hitch. Now, this does have a keyed alike option that's going to give you convenient one key operation. As you can see here, three keys are included and the weather resistant tethered dust cap is going to keep water and debris out of the keyway.

Now, I'd like to give you a brief demonstration of just how easy these are going to be to use. So, I removed my cap there, I'm going to insert one of the keys and you're just going to turn it counterclockwise to loosen the lock there. As you can see, it comes right off. This has an O-ring, if you can see it right there, that's going to protect the internal components from dirt and grime. And then, when you're ready to then secure this pin, you'll just go ahead, replace the head and you just twist the key like a screw until it gets nice and tight.

Then, once it's tight and the pin is locked, then you're just going to back the key off to the nearest mark there. So, lemme see if I can do that for you. And once you get it to the nearest mark, that's going to allow you to remove that key. So, these are going to be very simple to use and then you're just going to replace the cap to keep that keyway clear. Now, these are made here in the USA of a durable stainless steel construction.

It's going to prevent rusting. By the way, InfiniteRule products do undergo extensive third party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the locking pin in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load, or maximum force received without deformity is met, or the pin fails. These locking pins have a shear strength of 32,000 pounds. Now, lemme go ahead and give you some overall measurements of these pins, beginning with our hitch lock pin.

So, the overall length of our hitch lock pin, as you can see, we are sitting right at, right about five and three quarters inches long overall. And then, the diameter is five eighth's of an inch. And then, the inside length right here, also known as the span, lemme see if I can line that up for you. We are sitting right at, right about three and one eighths inches. And then, let me take one of these ball mount lock pins and measure this for you. So, again, the overall length, we're sitting right at six inches long. The diameter is three quarters of an inch. And again, measuring that inside length, or the span, we are sitting right at three and three eighths inches. So, these are very heavy duty, high quality locking pins that's going to do a great job of securing, completely securing your Curt Deep Drop adjustable 2-ball mount for your two inch hitch.
