This strap lets you tow a tractor, truck or other heavy vehicle behind your truck or Jeep. Simply secure one hook to the free-moving vehicle, and secure the other hook to the tow hook or shackle on your towing vehicle. Remember, there needs to be a driver in the towed vehicle to apply the brakes as necessary, and you need to drive very slowly while towing. This polyester strap also stretches less than a nylon recovery strap so it should be used for towing and not for recoveries.

Today we're going to take a look at the SmartStraps 30-foot long recovery strap with the tow hook ends. It has a 3000 pound working load limit. Now this durable recovery strap will help release a stuck vehicle, truck, tractor or small machinery. One end will secure to the stuck vehicle and the other end attaches to a tow hook or a shackle on a tow vehicle. It does use the extra strong webbing which is a bright yellow for high visibility, and the webbing is designed to resist cuts and abrasions. The hooks on each end are zinc plated steel hooks that help resist rust.
Dimensions again on this is two inches wide, 30 feet long. Maximum load or breaking strength on this strap is 9000 pounds. The safe working load or maximum vehicle limit is 3000 pounds. And just a note on this strap, the weight of the stuck vehicle must not exceed the maximum vehicle weight rating of the strap being used. And this is for quantity of one recovery strap.

Reasonably priced and still in good shape. A little larger hooks might be good.
Looks good. Fortunately this was still in the box of items which was so poorly packed that a huge hole was busted into the corner of the box. A heavy draw bar was just thrown into a box with virtually no packing material, so it slid around and broke through the box. My rating here includes the shipping and slow delivery.
thought the delivery charge was a bit excessive, but all Ended well..

The strap is fine but a different curve rater of the hook would be great. Theree is nothing more frustrating than wrapping around something the hook does not stay hooked.
