Today I'll be taking a look at the Bulldog Recovery Strap. This is going to be a heavy duty strap for those times we need to winch somebody out of a tricky situation or a muddy ditch. We have a nice wide loop on both ends with a little reinforcement sleeve that is stitched in place, so it's not going to slide around or rip off. That helps to increase the longevity and durability of that strap so it won't prematurely wear and the strap is doubled over and again stitched together to provide a little extra strength for the loop. Both ends are the same, so inside we'll have that same style loop and then there's going to be a little kind of stretchy sleeve here as another protective sleeve. This does slide along our strap. So if there's a place where you want to kind of keep it from rubbing up against your vehicle, or up against a bumper or something like that, you can place that strap over any of those edges to make sure that it doesn't cause any damage or rubbing. It's made of a durable, heavy duty polyester material.
We also have a sewn in cord to help keep everything nice and neat. So it's nice that this isn't a separate piece, it's sewn right in there, you can't take it out or lose it and that also helps to keep the strap from just crumbling out and becoming a big mess inside your vehicle.Whenever we're not using it, just tuck it up inside there and it'll keep it nice and compact. Now this is going to measure 2 inches wide by 30 feet long. It has a break strength of 20000 pounds and a working load limit of 6700 pounds.Whenever you're using your recovery strap, it's always a good idea to use a shackle to attach this to, so that you don't run the risk of this slipping off and then sling-shotting back and hitting someone or breaking and causing the vehicle that you're trying to recover, to slide back into wherever it was stuck. We do have a lot of shackles available here at etrailer.com if you need to pick one up.And that's going to do it for the Bulldog Recovery Strap..

New out of the box it looks good. Haven't got to use it yet. The elastic strap that is attached to it for storing the strap is probably not going to hold its elasticity very long.
We have not had to use this product yet, we carry it on our RZR-S to pull us out of trouble.

I have used the tow straps to pull a automobile out of the ditch. They worked very well
I have used etrailer several times. I've always found the service to be dependable, and deliveries timely. They aren't always the least expensive, but they are always reliable. To me, that's more important than lowest price.
Love the new technologically efficient strap material. This strap is lighter, smaller and stronger than my previous straps. Remember the big, stiff 3-4 inch wide yellow straps that had less than half the strength and you held your breath while trying to help someone get unstuck? This definitely ain't it. This is like para cord compared to twine.
I hope I don’t get into a situation off road where I will need this, but I feel secure having the strap in my safety arsenal.
Great tow rope !!
Very nice quality straps, should work w ell.
Fortunately haven't had to use yet. Like the keeper strap to hold it all together for storage.
Haven't used it yet, will keep you post ed!
Great strap for the money!
Have not used it yet but hopefully it last as long as my 30 year old one I am replacing!!
Haven't had to use it yet, but looks like high quality material.
