If you like your setup to look clean when you’re not towing, this kit keeps things tidy. The tabless design means no bulky crossbar or brackets sticking out from the bumper. The tabs stay attached to your tow bar, so you won’t lose or misplace them. When you’re done towing, snap on the included high-density polyethylene covers to keep dirt and debris out of the base plate receivers so the tabs slide in and out easily next time.
Connecting and disconnecting is simple—just insert the tow bar arms into the receivers, twist to lock, and add the included pull pin for security. To remove them, pull the pin, twist, and slide them out. This quick-connect system makes it easy to hook up even when you’re doing it solo. The bracket spacing is 22-3/4" center to center with a bracket height of 16", giving you clear specs to plan the rest of your towing setup.
This setup bolts right onto the chassis with no welding required. The sturdy steel build spreads towing forces evenly across the frame to reduce stress on your suspension components. It’s a dependable design made to handle long-distance towing with confidence mile after mile.
Already have a tow bar you like? This base plate works with all Demco Victory Series tow bars right out of the box and can be used with Demco Kwik-Tow or other manufacturers’ tow bars using adapters sold separately. The included electrical bracket makes it simple to mount a round plug connector up front so your wiring stays organized and ready to connect.
You don’t need welding gear or special tools for this job. It’s a straightforward bolt-on installation that comes with clear instructions and all necessary hardware. Once installed, it stays securely attached and ready for your next trip without getting in the way when you’re not towing.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

I installed this base plate on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler a year ago. We just came off our second trip in that year and we have driven over 13,000 miles. This base plate is a beast and has performed fantastically with no problems or errors. Typical hook up time for my Jeep from start to finish is less than 5 minutes and this includes installing my RVI Break 3 system. I can not stress any harder that this base plate is, in my opinion, the best you can buy.
