Hi, there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Demco Recon above-bed rail mount side plates. Now, these side plates are going to attach to your Demco Recon 21,000 pound manual slide fifth wheel trailer hitch and these are going to allow you to install your slider onto your above-bed rails. These are going to fit with the universal-style rails, so just about every manufacturer out there including Demco, really any of 'em that use the industry standard, which is just about all of them, these will fit right down into. So you'll move this lever into the unlock position, set it down on your rails, and you'll be able to move it back to the lock position. Put your pin and flip through, like so.

These are made here in the USA of a sturdy steel construction. You can see they have a black powder coat on 'em to help resist rust and corrosion. They will match with your recon, so it'll give you a full integrated look. And it's a very simple installation. They include all the hardware as well as the handles, safety pins, and instructions that you're gonna need to get them installed.

So if you do already have the recon, maybe it was for a factory puck system and you're switching over to a different vehicle with the above-bed rails, this is gonna be exactly what you need so that you can still use your recon with the above-bed rails.
