We just purchased a 2019 Chevy Spark for towing behind our 22 foot RV. Im having a difficult time finding information on what we need for towing this newer year car and as we are new to rving need the basics for getting this vehicle ready to tow.

Base plate manufacturers have not yet created base plates for the 2019 Chevy Spark but I am sure they will be coming out in the near future. I checked the owner's manual for the 2019 models and only models with a manual transmission can be flat towed. If you have an automatic transmission then you can dolly tow the Spark using a tow dolly, # RM-2050-1 or # RM-2000-1. You can also dolly tow models with the manual transmission if you want.
I have linked videos of the tow dollies for you. Honestly using a tow dolly is a great way to go. You pretty much just need it and a ball mount with the right amount of rise or drop to tow the dolly level. Each of the dollies above has electric brakes which can be controlled with a brake controller as well.
