If you like a clean, factory look when you’re not towing, this setup delivers. The tabless design keeps the front end free of bulky brackets or a crossbar, and the drawbar tabs stay on your tow bar instead of sticking out from the vehicle. When not in use, snap on the polyethylene receiver covers to keep dirt and debris out so the arms slide in smoothly next time you hook up.
Connecting is fast and simple. Slide each tow bar arm into the base plate receiver, twist to lock it in place, and secure it with the included pull pin. The design saves time when you’re setting up alone and adds confidence that everything is properly latched before hitting the road. The distance between brackets is 25-7/8" and bracket height is 16-3/4", giving you solid reference points for your tow setup.
This base plate bolts directly to the chassis—no welding required. Its sturdy steel build spreads towing forces evenly to minimize stress on the suspension while maintaining a strong, dependable connection through thousands of miles of travel. It’s a solid piece of hardware that’s meant to last.
Already running a specific tow bar? No problem. This kit works directly with Demco, etrailer, and Blue Ox tow bars without an adapter. Roadmaster users can add an adapter (DM9523036, DM9523062, DM9523014, or DM9523023, sold separately) to make it work seamlessly with their existing gear. The built-in electrical bracket makes it easy to mount a round plug up front so your wiring stays tidy and ready to connect.
If you like doing your own projects, this setup is designed for straightforward home installation. It uses existing chassis points for a bolt-on fit, and all hardware and instructions are included to guide you step-by-step. Once installed, it’s permanently mounted and ready whenever you need to tow again.

The Demco base plate for our 2025 Jeep Gladiator is still the best choice out there. It required no drilling or cutting and is easily swapped out as we lease our Jeep and need to put it on the next Jeep every year. Also very easy to hook up and very robust construction.

I installed this base plate on my 2008 Jeep Wrangler a year ago. We just came off our second trip in that year and we have driven over 13,000 miles. This base plate is a beast and has performed fantastically with no problems or errors. Typical hook up time for my Jeep from start to finish is less than 5 minutes and this includes installing my RVI Break 3 system. I can not stress any harder that this base plate is, in my opinion, the best you can buy.
