I have a 2011 Chevy HHR and am looking for a base plate to fit onto my Demco Aluninate Toe Bar

I recommend the Demco tabless kit # DM9519196. It'll match right up with the Aluminator and is custom fit for your 2011 Chevy HHR.

This setup will allow you to flat tow your 2011 Chevrolet HHR with your Demco tow bar.

To flat tow your HHR you will also need safety cables, lighting, and supplemental braking. For safety cables I recommend the Roadmaster Single Hook Coiled Cables, # RM-643. The coiled design helps keep the cables from contracting the ground.

For lighting, there are several options depending on what will work best for your specific application. I have included a link to an FAQ article that covers the various options.

Most states now require supplemental braking on the vehicle that is being towed. The easiest to install and use is the Roadmaster Even Brake, # RM-9400. This is a proportional system that applies the brakes in the vehicle being towed in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This reduces wear and tear on both vehicles and is the safest way to stop.
