We purchased these as a just in case we need them item. So far we have not had to put these cable chains to the test yet.

So far so good. I have not actually needed them. However in the mean time I traded in the 2016 Outback and got a 2019 Outback. Looking forward to trying them out if needed.

Rubber adjusters, that are sold separately, are recommended, as the chains you purchased do not have self-tightening cams or adjusters. Here are some for size 15-18 inch rims: item # PW105.

Still have not needed to put them on. But its so convenient to keep them in my car in the winter months. I am still glad to have them. I think this company is definitely top notch in customer service.
