The cable and roller design of the chains allows more clearance between the wheel and the wheel well of the vehicle.

It is recommended that you also purchase the Glacier Multi-Arm Rubber Adjusters # PW105 with Glacier's cable chains. These rubber adjusters make it easier to fit and tighten the Glacier tire chains to the wheel of your vehicle. These adjusters are designed to fit the chains that fit on a light trick application.
