The online edition of the manual for the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek indicates on page 8-11 that low-profile S-Class spring chains can be used on the front tires only. Since a given tire chain is made to fit only certain specific tire sizes you will also want to check the sidewall of your tires to find their size designation, such as P225/60R17 and P225/55R18. I linked two pages showing our range of S-Class chains for both of these two tire sizes that can come on the Crosstrek.
For the P225/60R17 size I recommend Titan Cable Chain set # TC339DC which includes manual rubber tension adjusters. These require a minimum of 1.46-inches (37 mm) between the top of the tire tread and the wheel well AND at least 0.59-inches (15 mm) between the tire's inside sidewall and the vehicle itself. As it happens, these chains will also fit on the tire size P225/55R18. I linked a video to show installation.
Its also a good idea to check your printed owner's manual index under the heading "Tires" and then find the reference to use of chains. This is good to do in case your printed manual has different information than the online copy.
