Hello Clay, thanks for reaching out. We do have tire chains that will fit your 2021 Volkswagen Passat with 235/45-18 tires and alloy rims. For that I recommend the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains # th02230k34. These chains are class S compatible meaning they are low profile and they take up no space behind the wheel. So they are safe to use on vehicles with limited wheel well clearance.
Also, these Konig chains offer protection for your alloy wheels. The chain anchors to the wheel lug nut, so no part of the chain actually comes into contact with the wheel. This is the only type of chain that truly protects the wheel.
They are also very easy to install. Just anchor the chain to the lug, rape the chain over the tire and drive. The chain will self-tension as you drive. They will work great in snow and ice.
If you are looking for cables, we do offer the Glacier Cables # PW1042 that will fit your tires. These do not offer any kind of rim protection though. Also, I really do not recommend using cables. They are not made to last, and they do not provide good traction.
