When weight matters most, this wheel keeps up. The Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel measures 15" x 6" and carries a 2,830-lb rating with a 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern and 1/2"-20 wheel bolts. Salt, grime, and wet roads won’t eat away at this wheel thanks to its two-step coating process. The e-coat primer is sealed under a Starlite silver powder coat finish that locks out rust and corrosion. It stays looking sharp while standing up to years of use in all kinds of weather.
No guesswork here. This wheel uses the common 6 on 5-1/2" bolt pattern with a 4.27" pilot diameter and zero offset, so it lines up easily with modern hubs. That makes it a simple choice when you need a direct swap that fits right the first time.
With a true zero offset, the hub mounting surface sits right in the middle of the wheel for even load distribution across both sides. That balanced design helps maintain stable tracking on the road and reduces unwanted vibration when rolling at speed.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Wheels are used on 10k car hauler. No issues with construction or appearance. I have bought quite a few of these wheels over the years. My only issue is that after several years they have begun to peel. Trailer is stored indoors 5 months out of the year.
Your rim product was just the same as the OEM on my Airstream. It gives me the perfect base in which to prime and paint. I looked long and hard for a smoked black powder coat but could only find them in other designed rims. Delivery was expeditious and arrived within the week even during the COVID-19.

Everything is great!
Great website to determine what was needed. We received the rim, and it is exactly what we wanted.
Wheels are exactly as described and match my existing wheels. Road hazard took out a wheel on my trailer and opted to buy a to have a second spare as I am often on poor roads with sketchy cell coverage. Good price and quick delivery. I would have preferred them earlier as I had to alter plans (had back to back trips scheduled) due to a lack of a spare but that would have been an unreasonable expectation. All in all very pleased with the experience.
Great wheels and the price was great too. These wheels are for the new axles I bought to increase the load capacity of my trailer. The last wheel I bought for my trailer had a load rating of 2230 lb. from Discount Tire in Las Vegas and it cost me $75.00 plus mounting and balance. As you can see this was a great price savings and these wheels are rated for 2830 pounds each.
Dexter makes good quality wheels they run true and have a superior finish. Love my wheels, I had 7000# trailer axles with the mobile home wheels and I just converted them to 6 lug drum hub combinations. I previously bought new backing plates and brakes from trailer. Now new wheels and tires and I feel a lot safer now.
I searched many vendors for replacement trailer wheels, as they are apparently fairly uncommon. Etrailer found them for me and offered them at a competitive price, with free shipping. Unfortunately, given current supply chain complications, they were not immediately available, but Etrailer's staff did a great job of keeping me informed on delivery status..
I have used etrailer multiple times ordering items for two different RVs and my UTV. Everything was as described and priced right. This last order cemented my relationship with this company. When my order for a spare tire carrier and two tire covers was delivered it was missing one of the tire covers. I called the number on the email sent to alert me to the delivery. I’m sorry I don’t recall the gentlemans name who answered but after verifying my problem he immediately reordered and the cover came quickly. Great company!

The original order arrived exactly on schedule but contained a rim of incorrect size. After talking with a sales rep, a replacement rim was on its way with no questions asked plus return freight being covered by the company. The real test of a company's customer service is how they deal with a simple mistake or anomaly. ETrailer has passed the test with flying colors and I especially appreciate the quick, courteous communications from several of their staff members.
These rims were a perfect fit for my travel trailer and they are made in the USA! From the ordering process and customer support everything was 5 stars and the shipping was just as great. I thought it would take close to a week to receive the product but 2 days later they were at my front door. This is definitely my go to place for all my trailer needs!

Perfect!!! Rims are still as good as day one!
I was looking for a rim for my boat trailer to use for a spare tire. I basically selected one according to price and something reasonably similar looking to the wheels that my road tires are mounted on. While the metal finish isn’t an exact match, the rim I purchased is certainly suitable for my purposes. [etrailer] offers several rim choices in the size I needed, it is just a matter of choice and price. All and all, for the selection and price, I was more than satisfied. Also, the order processing and shipping was very prompt. I think my order arrived within 2-3 days. Good products, great customer service, what more could you ask for?

The wheel I purchased is working out well. I can ‘t say i have actually had my spare tire and wheel on the road as I haven’t experienced a flat tire yet and hopefully will not. But it is good to know I have the equipment on the ready if I ever need it. If you trailer to any degree, I would highly recommend that you do some research, and find an affordable tire, in the size you need, match it with a good wheel, and mount it onto your trailer. You never know when you will have a flat tire, and having a spare with you could help avoid a lot of hassle.
