When you’re carrying serious weight or setting out on long hauls, this tire is built to handle it. The Provider ST225/75R15 radial trailer tire has a Load Range E rating with a maximum capacity of 2,830 lbs at 80 psi (single tire) and 2,470 lbs (dual). It’s a 10-ply radial design that meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS standards, giving you confidence mile after mile.
For long-distance towing in hot conditions, the radial construction keeps things cool. The cords run at a 90-degree angle to direction of travel, reducing rolling resistance and heat buildup for longer tread life. With an M speed rating?(81 mph), it maintains stability and traction at real highway speeds without breaking a sweat.
This tire uses double steel belts and double polyester cords wrapped in a protective nylon overlay. That layered strength helps prevent tread separation and keeps the shape true under heavy loads. Every tire is bake tested to make sure the rubber holds up over time, so you get dependable wear instead of early failure.
Slippery conditions don’t have to slow you down. The automotive-grade tread has ribs with breaks that let water run off to the sides, while thin sipes cut into the rubber channel away moisture for better contact on wet, snowy, or icy roads. Built-in tread depth bars give a quick visual check on wear so you know when it’s time for new rubber.
The Provider fits 15" x 6", 15" x 6-1/2", and 15" x 7" wheels with an outer diameter of 28.31" and section width of 8.78". Designed specifically for trailers, not passenger vehicles, it’s ready to roll for years of towing backed by a 2-year limited warranty.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Exactly what I needed to replace my old trailer tires. Moved from Load D to Load E rated tires and up from 205's to 225's. Had them mounted the same day they arrived. Drove 350 miles the next day. Run smoother and quieter than my old tires.

I am happy with the way the tires look I’m happy with the tread depth. I am not happy that I got one year-old tires company like you should be able to keep tires within six months of the date manufacture before they mail them out.

Theres not much to say . Only put around 1500 miles on them ,they look as they did the first day I got them, And like all trailer tires have them balanced.

I bought 4 Good Year Endurance tires and using your tire for my spare.
I will say your tire balanced with 1/4 oz of weight and looked like a very good tire.
Compared the weight of your tire with the GY tires your tire was a little lighter for what ever that might mean.
The GY tire is a new design and made in the USA.
18 tires on four 5th wheel trailers through 11 states over 30 days and 6000 miles in July temperatures without a single tire related problem. You might say we are sold on the quality of these tires.
Etrailer had a nice selection of trailer tires to choose from. They even have wheels if you need those too or want to upgrade. I chose these provider tires mainly for two reasons: the speed rating of 81 vs 65 on my 9 year old tires I replaced and for the tread design being more like a nice radial car or truck tire. Just pulled the travel trailer about 90 miles one way with these new tires and it was a huge relief knowing I have great new tires and we had 0 issues! The local tire chain store did the mounting and balancing for me. At the end of day it did cost me about $115 more than if I would have just let them do the complete job and buying their tires but I didn’t care for the tread on those so I went this route to get what I wanted and liked. Shipping was a day early so no issues there however etrailer is local for me!
I actually know a couple friends that have used etrailer and have not had any issues and now I can say the same, good job etrailer! Look closely at old tire photo, if your tires have cracks and splits even with good tread they need to go! Be safe!
Not my first purchase from etrailer.
I ordered tires, rims and some additional trailer parts for our travel trailer. Helen was very congenial, efficient and knowledgeable, and I placed the order.
Based on the stated delivery dates, we made plans to take our trailer and do some camping, allowing an extra day for delivery just in case there was a problem. Unfortunately our order was somehow split into two deliveries, with tires not arriving until after the day we planned to leave, causing me to purchase an additional tire locally the day of departure so we could leave as planned and not forfeit a day's camping fees. Otherwise, everything that was ordered came as expected. Great customer service during the ordering process, just not sure why everything ordered did not ship on the same schedule as it assumedly came from the same warehouse.
Not the first time I have had delivery problems with etrailer. They shipped mismatched tires in one prior order. On another, they shipped a product with a known defective part. They correct the errors very quickly, so I made this additional purchase. The weak link, based my experiences, seems to be in order fulfillment.
I love these tires. Provider rides have a quality tire with a higher weight and speed raring than most all other brand tires. My old canper tires squatted far to much at max pressure and they looked like they would roll off the rim when turning. These Provider tires barely squat with 5 psi under max. The camper feels more stable and it rolls with less resistance.
The tires are still holding air!!! No with the joking set aside, the tires have been great. Have not used the trailer in the winter yet. I would recommend theses tires. When the tractor is on the trailer. It pulls great. Rides very nice. Sometimes I don't feel the trailer back there. The trailer tires at the local store don't even compare to these. Even for the load range. Hands down I would buy them again if available and when tires are needed.
They are what I wanted were easy to mount and have a nice tread.
Great tires. I previously had load D tires on my trailer and was blowing tires every 1k miles or so. I have now replaced 3 or 4 tires with these as the others have blown and have put about 12k miles on them going coast to coast a few times with my over weight 30ft toy hauler trailer and have not has issue one with them. I am very pleased.
I would say to go ahead and purchase the rim and tire together on this site since it comes already to-go. I have purchased two of these without the rim and had them mounted/balanced and a new high pressure valve stem installed and it cost me about the same as you can get the complete package on this site. Plus I had to invest a whole lot more of my time.
Shipping was fast to my front door. I had them mounted and I put them on my 5th wheel today and all looks fine. I have not towed it yet but don't expect any problems. If I encounter any problems, I will update this review.

I have put quite a few trips and miles on these tires, they are doing great. I run these tires at 70 mph and have no problem, cant get any better than that.
I have had these on my 31' TT for a year and they are excellent. Originally the trailer had load range D tires on it but the same size. So I ordered the Load Range E tires and they DO make a difference in towing. The Trailer has been on some trips and I can tell a difference in how she pulls behind my Truck. I have about 2000 miles on them in a year and I could not be happier with these tires. One last major point, when they arrived, the first thing I looked at was the date on the tires. All (4) were from the same batch (week/year), and all were within 6 months of being made when I bought them. So NO ISSUES with getting old tires. Would buy them again if I need to.
Selected this product for its tread design and speed rating. Seems to be slightly better than the Westlake product which lasted only 3 years and less than 5000 miles when I encountered blow outs!

The tires have been great, not showing any signs of wear even after a 3000 mile trip. I have the tires on a 36 foot toy hauler, excellent tires.
These are great tires for my dump trailer. I replaced the oem trailer tires with these some time ago and they have held up well even when the trailer has been overloaded (Never Skimp on Load Ratings!) eTrailers customer service is the best in the buiness without a doubt. Ordered at 7:00 in the morning and they shipped by lunchtime not just a tracking number but in possession of the shipper!
I have these on a 5th wheel camper and on a 10 ton trailer. I love them. I put about 8,000 miles on the 5th wheel and see no sign of wear. The 10 ton trailer has been at max weight alot and have had no issues. I will be taking off my Goodyear's on my boat soon and replacing them with the providers too.
Good quality trailer tire. Will order when time to replace these if the price stays competitive.

Tires are wearing well and had no defects. Something that not all online tire sales for trailers can claim. I will be purchasing them again next time I need more.

The wheel still looks good after a year of use, with no rust or damage. Overall, a solid product that I would definitely recommend to others looking for dependable trailer tires and wheels.
Great stability at highway speeds. Night and day difference compared to the stock tires that came on my 34ft travel trailer. Only used on one camping trip, 500miles so far.

Bought 3 new tires. Bought one last year. Had my mechanic put them on my wheels and I had him balance them also. One tire needed no weights to balance it and the other two only needed 1oz. of tire weight. Will be heading to Montana, west Yellowstone, Jackson Hole and back to Nebraska with confidence in my new tires.

It's not unheard of for tires to arrive at our location that were manufactured a year or more before we received them. These tires are manufactured overseas. After they are manufactured, they can sit in a warehouse for months until they're packed in a shipping container and ultimately loaded on a container ship and shipped to the US. The trip here and entry through US Customs can take a few months, depending on how quickly they can get off-loaded and through Customs. The tires then sit in our distributor's warehouse in the US until we order and receive them. Tires that are stored in a warehouse under controlled conditions don't age or dry rot like tires that are exposed to the elements and UV radiation do. The fact that your tires were around a year old when you received them will not have any effect on their lifespan or durability. They should be good for up to 4-6 years, assuming they're not stored in direct sunlight, not overloaded, kept properly inflated and their speed rating isn't being exceeded. The product warranty begins at the date of purchase, not the date of manufacture.
