Upgrading from 205/75-15 Trailer Tires to 225/75-15 Trailer Tires

Question:

Hi! I need to change the tires on 23foot toy hauler, due to the side having cracks. What I have on now is a freestar st205/75/15 6ply load range c. I would like to upgrade my tires,is it possibly to put on 215/75/15 10ply? What brand do you recommend? And what is your expertise advise and suggestions? Thank you in advance.

In order to upgrade from a 205/75-15 tire to a larger size, the 225/75-15 which is what we offer you will need to account for the reduced clearance. The new size is 1.2" larger in diameter and .8" larger in width but you only need to account for half of this so you should be fine. The Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire part # TR225LRE which is what I recommend is 10 ply.
