You can see more of the space around your setup while moving, cooking, or working after dark. If you're in a tight spot, the light head removes from the pole and includes a molded grommet for hanging overhead from hooks or supports. You can position the light above tables, work areas, or in your tent where a tripod may not fit and keep the area fully illuminated.
Full output isnt always needed for every task around camp. The dimmable LED output lets you lower brightness for cooking, relaxing, or low-light movement, or turn it up when you need more visibility. You can match the light level to the moment and keep the area lit without overpowering the space.
Lighting in every direction can spill into areas you don't need or into nearby campsites. Individual panel control lets you switch between 360 degree and 180 degree output so you can direct the light where it's needed. You can keep the beam focused where you're cooking, unloading, or working without blasting light into other people's space or forcing everyone to deal with harsh glare.
Bulky lighting gear can eat up room in camp bins, truck storage, or travel kits. This LightRanger collapses to 3-1/2" x 3-1/2" x 16-1/2" and includes a carry bag for transport and setup. The light packs down small enough to stay with your gear between trips.
Short battery life can cut off lighting before the task is done. The integrated rechargeable 5,000 mAh Li-ion battery delivers up to 3 hours of runtime at maximum output and up to 30 hours at lower output settings. You can manage brightness for the job and keep the area lit longer between charges.
Rain can move in while the light is already set up outside. The IPX6 waterproof rating supports operation in heavy rain and wet outdoor conditions. Your campsite or work area stays lit while the weather turns wet.
Single light setups can fall short when you need longer runtime, automatic activation, or different lighting conditions. Optional accessories (sold separately) include a motion sensor that detects movement and triggers the light automatically, a portable power bank that mounts directly to the unit to extend runtime and provide USB output for device charging, and a set of two colored lens filters designed for use with the LightRanger 800 and 800 mini. The snap-on polycarbonate filters include red for preserving night vision, and amber for reducing insect attraction, giving you more control over how the light performs in different environments. Also sold separately is a magnetic carbiner for hanging the lamp head in tight spots, and a ground stake so you can use the telescoping light without opening the tripod base.

Hi everyone, Steven here with Etrailer. Today we're taking a look at our Devos LightRanger Telescoping LED Lantern with 800 powerful lumens of power. So folks, 800 lumens. This LED head is gonna provide broad overhead illumination for either your campsite or outdoor task that you have at night, and it can fully telescope close and then fit inside the carrying bag that it comes with along with a USB-C charger. And that charger is gonna plug in right here on the side. And then you got a power button, you can turn it on, and it's gonna give you two different modes.
You can turn off half the lights or turn on all the lights, and then you can actually pull this out once you get it unlocked here and make this extend all the way up to four and a half feet tall. So this is on the ground right now behind my table. I'm six foot two or 74 inches tall. This one here is about 54 inches tall, so about four and a half feet tall. And again, it does have the nice tripod base, which we we inchesre just looking at on the table here.
Let me open that back up. And that's really nice because then you can set it up once I get to loosen up here, here we go. You can set it up like this, then you can have it on while you're doing your thing at the campsite or whatnot. Again, two different light options, full power, half power, and off. So again, folks, obviously it's waterproof, has a great option again, with the powerful base it's gonna support and give you light illumination where you need it, when you need it, you can bring it up taller or shorter, again, depending on your needs.
I'm about probably six foot from the camera. If I put this all the way up here, you can just see how much light it's putting off. But again, the max height of this is about four feet, so it's gonna be about this tall. It does light up the area really, really nice. I can see everything here in my room really nice.
Obviously there's some shadows and those kind of things because it's not daytime brightness, but you get the picture, right And then you can even push this spring button here on the side. Let me lower this back down so you can see this a little better. So you have a spring button right here. You can push that, you can pop this light head off, and then you could hang it with a little hole there. You could put a hook through there or something and hang it so you could have higher light, maybe inside of a tent or something while you're camping out on the trails. And again, it can go down small like that. And then you can pop it right inside of your drawstring carrying bag along with the charger, cinch it up, and then you get a nice little handle strapped there to use it. You're gonna get three hours of runtime at maximum output, and 30 hours of runtime at the lowest output setting. And it's a fast charge again with that USB-C charger. Good quality, excellent light brightness
Easily bright enough to illuminate the campsite or the backyard for a late night game of cornhole. The app makes it easy to adjust the brightness, color, and spread. This is the first Devos light I've purchased and I'm very happy with it.
Just received the rangerlight and unpacked it and in the charging process right now the true test will come Friday when put in use.
I recently picked up the Devos LightRanger 4000, and it quickly became one of my favorite camping accessories. On a recent trip, I arrived at my campsite well after sunset and had to set up all of my RV connections in complete darkness. Normally, I'm juggling a flashlight in my mouth or wearing a headlamp while trying to hook everything up, which is never ideal.
The LightRanger 4000 completely changed that experience. I set it up, extended the telescoping pole, and it lit up the entire campsite and hookup area with bright, even light. Instead of focusing a narrow beam wherever I happened to be looking, I could see everything around me at once. It made connecting power, water, and leveling the RV much easier and less frustrating.
The 4,000 lumens provide impressive coverage, and the elevated design does a great job of eliminating shadows around the campsite. The rechargeable battery and quick setup are also huge benefits when you're arriving late and just want to get camp established.
If you regularly arrive at camp after dark, work around your RV at night, or just want to light up a large area without relying on flashlights or headlamps, I highly recommend the Devos LightRanger 4000. It turned what is usually a frustrating part of camping into a simple task.
This is the rockstar of camping lights/work lights! I love this light because it is dimmable, gives you control over how many panels light up, and lets you change colors. This can all be done from the handy app. When you use just one or two sides, the are not illuminated stays dark - there isn't light seeping over. I used it camping with some friends and it was great to have a tall red light when people wanted to walk around but not blind everyone who were enjoying the campfire. Also the fact that it can extend up to 10 feet (which is really tall) and still feel stable was great. I moved it to different parts of the campground throughout the weekend and it never let me down. I'm including a bunch of pictures so you can take a look. Highly recommend for those who need a portable light. Oh...and it is rechargeable and can serve as a battery bank.

I took this light camping and was amazed by how powerful it was at 800 lumens. Man o man, it was bright. What I found more amazing was if you shut off part of the four light panels, it really does prevent light from spilling over. Imagine if you are camping in one of those crowded parks and need some light but don't want to disturb your neighbors...this light can do that. I love that it is rechargeable and you can use it as a battery bank too. I took the light off the pole to use it as a lantern but found it too bright in my hammock tent but it would probably be great in a family sized cabin tent. Just hang it from a carabiner or something. Check out my pics!
