The large, rubber coated handle makes it easier to crank down tight and hold tension. Once tightened, the strap stays secure until you release it.
The working load limit is what counts, not the break strength. Each strap's rated for 1,333 lbs, so a pair safely secures up to 2,666 lbs. If your cargo's heavier, add another strap and tighten it down. Better to be safe than chasing your load down the road.

Hi everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look together at our very own etrailer ratchet straps with double J hooks. You're gonna get a quantity of two and they're gonna measure two inch wide by 20 feet long and have an impressive 1333 pounds working load limit. Now, these rate at 4,000 pound brake strength, and they're gonna be great for tying down smaller things, most likely, maybe ATVs, maybe potentially a small car, and those kind of things. Just make sure you're using enough to do what you need to safely. Now with these, you do have these very nice, rubberized, coated double J hooks, so very nice, robust, easy to latch onto the edge of your trailer or your tied-on points.
And then obviously, when it's time to ratchet, you know the deal, right You simply ratchet it. When it's time to loosen, get that tension off, pull that other strap back, and now you're loose and ready to go. Again, you're gonna get a quantity of two. The webbing is a nice two-inch wide by 20 foot long webbing, it's polyester. You don't have to worry about frame stretching or failing with these.
They're very, very high quality. They're gonna last you for many, many years to come. Great wide straps. Replaced some old worn 1" straps with these. Use for a variety of items. Plywood, tables and chairs, canoe etc. Great price as well.
