Keep in mind these are going to fit 9/16 inch wheel studs.Whether you've lost lug nuts, the old ones are rusted and corroded, or you've upgraded your brakes like we did, you're going to make sure you have a quality lug nut to hold the wheels in place. So we upgraded the brakes . and here's our original lug nut . and as you can see it's not going to fit. Our new lug nut is going to go on just like a regular lug nut. It's going to thread on perfectly. Our lug nuts are going to be stainless steel so it is going to resist rust and corrosion.

Making sure the lug nut fits the wheel is important. The overall length of our lug nuts is going to be right about two inches which is going to make is real easy to get them started with some of those recessed areas, or if our center cap is kind of in the way.Our lug nuts are going to use a 7/8 inch socket to tighten them up. You want to make sure you torque all your lug nuts down to the specified amount in your owners manual. One last thing, keep in mind our lug nuts do come in a quantity of one. So you want to make sure you order enough for the entire wheel, or all the wheels on your trailer. That will finish up your look at the lionshead stainless steel trailer wheel lug nuts, part number lhlr110..

I ordered lug nuts for my RV and needed them within 5 days. Sheri T. had the lug nuts delivered within the time I needed. The lug nuts were very difficult to find locally, so I went online and found them at etrailer.com. The lug nuts that I received were exactly what I was looking for. In the future I certainly will use etrailer.com rather than look all over to find parts, for my RV. Great service and Great product. 527519

Quality of product is excellent!. The package was held up in Houston for a week while UPS transferred to USPS. Received ten days after ordering and some of the nuts were loose in the damaged box. The plastic bag should have been sealed close to insure that there was no loss of nuts through holes in box. 458586

I needed to find matching lug nuts, simple as that may sound, for our new 5th wheel having no success locally. I found etrailer was quick, easy, efficient and had the correct lug nuts available immediately. Shipping was very expeditions and reasonably priced. The order was completed and shipped professionally and promptly. etrailer will definitely be on my list of "go to" places in the future. Thank you etrailer! 431346

- LHLR110

I received the lug nuts I ordered from etrailer as promised. etrailer was the only provider I found who had the lug nuts I needed in stainless steel. I have both an RV and a boat trailer and the current lug nuts have all corroded badly so I wanted stainless steel to prevent this from occurring. Ordering from etrailer was easy and convenient. Thanks! 381581

  • Lug Nuts Keep Coming Loose on Double Axle Trailer
If you still have the trailer manual, I would recommend checking that to see what the manufacturer of your trailer has set as the recommended torque specs for your hubs; a majority of the time, these issues are rooted in over/under tightening of the lug nuts like the # LHLR110. This is also a good time to make sure that your wheels are properly rated for your fully loaded trailer- which could be another potential cause. When you take into consideration the stress that is put on hubs...

  • What Does Right Hand Thread Mean for Trailer Lug Nuts
Right hand thread means that they tighten turning clockwise like what you have. Older vehicles and trailers used to put left hand threaded lugs on one side of the trailer and right hand on the other. The thinking back then was that they all had to tighten a certain direction relative to the rotation of the wheels otherwise they would loosen on their own from inertia while traveling down the road. In recent years we've learned that's not true so basically everything now is right hand thread.

  • Are Right Handed Lug Nuts More Likely To Loosen When Installed On the Left Hand Side Of a Trailer
I think what you are asking is if right hand threaded lug nuts have a greatly likelihood of coming loose when installed on the left hand side of the trailer in comparison to when they are installed on the right hand side of the trailer due to the direction the wheel is rotating. If that is the case then this was a concern at one time but more accurate testing has confirmed that it makes no difference as to what way the lug nut threads on in relation to the rotation of the wheel. • Recommended Lug Nut Torque Spec for 16 Inch Viking Aluminum Wheel
The Provider ST235/85R16 Radial Tire with 16" Viking Aluminum Wheel # A16RGBML is compatible with either 1/2"-20 or 9/16"-18 wheel bolts, the recommended torque specification will depend on which of these two your hub uses. The tire, however, is not a factor. Torque 1/2"-20 lug nuts like # LHLR103, to 90-100 ft-lbs. Torque 9/16"-18 lug nuts like # LHLR110, to 120-140 ft-lbs. I've attached a comprehensive Lug Nut Torque Specifications chart for you as well.

  • Recommended Trailer Lug Nuts And Components Compatible With 16 Inch Aluminum HWT Hi-Spec 03 Wheels
The lug nuts I recommend for the Aluminum HWT Hi-Spec Series 03 Mod Trailer Wheel w/-8mm Offset - 16" x 7" Rim - 6 on 5-1/2 # AM22657 are based on the lug stud size and finish preference. I recommend using the Americana Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 13/16" Diameter - Stainless Steel - 1/2" - 20 # AM90054 for 1/2 inch lugs or Chrome Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2" (Each) # 12CLN. • Which Provides the Best Corrosion Resistance, ESR Finish or Aluminum Wheels?
In terms of good, better and best corrosion resistance, the Provider ST235/80R16 Radial Tire w 16" Steel Mod Wheel - 8 on 6-1/2 - LR E - Black ESR Finish # A16RTK8DMM you referenced is a good option but it's what we consider "better". While better than galvanized wheels, it is still a steel wheel which means that over time the inevitable knick or scratch will expose the steel, making it susceptible to corrosion. For the best corrosion resistance, an aluminum wheel like # LHAWSO513B...

We have a few options available. I recommend the Westlake ST235/80R16 Radial Tire w 16" Jaguar Aluminum Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - LR E - Silver # LHAWSJ511S. This combination has a few benefits over the other options. It is nitrogen filled so it will maintain tire pressure better than those with standard air which helps prolong the life of the tire and wheel. It also comes with steel inserts in the aluminum wheels to prevent holes from wearing down and eliminate the need for constant retightening...

The steel inserts in the lug nut wells help prevent the holes from wearing down and ensures the wheel stays secure to your hub. You may choose to use lug nuts like # LHLR103 for 1/2 inch or # LHLR110 for 9/16 inch based on desired look and wheel stud size. • Lug Nut Covers for RV Trailer Wheels
I have a solution for you, however, we do not carry snap on lug nut covers small enough to fit the lug nuts on your trailer. We do offer lug nuts with a finished back if you are okay with replacing your lug nuts. If you need 1/2 inch lug nuts, part # 12CLN would work well for you. If you need 9/16 inch lug nuts, you would want part # LHLR110.

A standard 'deep' lug nut would be used, such as # 12CLN for a 1/2 inch or # LHLR110 for a 9/16, whichever your hub calls for. I've linked you to a product description and an install video.

  • Lug Nut Recommendation for Boat Trailer With 6 Bolt Wheels
The most common wheel stud diameter for trailer wheels is 1/2 inch which the part # LHRL103 would be a great option for as it's a stainless steel lug nut that won't corrode. The next most popular size is 9/16 inch which is common on larger capacity axles like you may have. For that you'd need the part # LHLR110. Most likely you have 1/2 inch diameter studs but there are some 6 lug hubs that have a 9/16 inch diameter to so you'd want to measure yours to be sure. If you are unsure you...
