Question:

I have a 12 ft Porta Bote. I know its a fold-a-boat, but I use it a lot and like to leave it assembled and trailer it. What kind of mods would I need to use your trailer with my boat?

You probably would not have to modify CE Smith boat trailer # CE48810 to use it with your Porta Bote. The boat would just have to be properly secured to the trailer. The trailer can support boat up to 12 feet long and up to 800 pounds.

For straps I recommend a transom tie down such as # IMF17631. Other useful straps you can use include # EM34423 which you can bolt directly to the trailer frame. Other than that I do not foresee any modifications being necessary.
