Jameson Thanks for your response. Before I purchase these are they suitable for saltwater use. I primarily use my trailer in saltwater?

I'd recommend going with the # EM34423 instead as it's closer to the length you need as it is 5-1/2 feet long and it has a higher capacity at 1,333 lbs working load limit and 4,000 lbs break strength.
The ratchet portion could easily be attaches at the loop where you current strap is located.
