When you’re hauling serious gear, you want bars that won’t flex or fatigue under load. These Heavy-Duty aluminum crossbars can handle up to 500 lbs (always check your roof load capacity) and stretch a full 78" long. The aluminum build keeps them lightweight but strong and rustproof, so they hold up trip after trip in any weather.
Every setup is a little different, and that’s where the 72" tracks come in. They mount to flat surfaces like camper shells or truck bed rails and use C-channels for easy tower adjustment. You can slide the SkyLine towers to dial in bar spacing for your gear, whether it’s a cargo box, kayak cradle, or fishing setup. And since the tracks mount with T-bolts, you get a rock-solid anchor that stays put once installed.
No need to hunt for spots to hook straps—each crossbar endcap has built-in tie-down points ready for ropes or cam straps. It’s an easy place to secure your load without extra hardware, giving you peace of mind on the highway or down a gravel road.
Rubber strips in the crossbar channels help cushion your gear while cutting down on wind noise and vibration. They also help block dirt and grime from building up inside the bars, keeping everything cleaner and extending the life of your rack.
Every part of this system—from the aluminum tracks to the SkyLine towers—is designed to last. The rustproof materials stand up to rain and sun, while the endcaps give the tracks a finished look when not in use. Add Yakima Same Key System (SKS) lock cores (sold separately) and you’ve got lockable security for your setup wherever you park.
