This Westlake ST205/75R15 tire-and-wheel assembly is made for long trips and steady towing. The radial design puts the cords at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel, which cuts down on heat buildup and rolling resistance. That means a smoother ride and longer tread life, even at its 75-mph (L-speed) rating. With an 8-ply sidewall and Load Range D strength, it carries up to 2,150 lbs at 65 psi without breaking a sweat.

Inside this Westlake radial you’ve got double steel belts and double polyester plies for solid durability. A nylon tread-firming belt overlay helps prevent tread separation, so the tire holds its shape and wears evenly mile after mile. The built-in tread wear indicator makes it easy to keep an eye on remaining depth before any big trip.
The 15" x 6" aluminum wheel isn’t just lightweight—it’s rustproof. The glossy black Margay design is finished with an automotive-grade clear coat that protects against scuffs and scratches, keeping that fresh look season after season. Rated for 2,150 lbs with a 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern, it’s built to handle real-world loads without giving up style.
Every assembly comes with complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years—flat tire service available 24/7 anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico. Plus there’s a 1-Year No Excuses Guarantee on the tire itself. If it’s damaged within the first year for any reason not covered by warranty, Westlake will replace it at no charge and cover a flat labor rate for mounting the replacement.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire in a load range D. And it's mounted on this 15 inch glossy black Margay series aluminum wheel with the five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Now this tire wheel assembly is ideal for RVs, campers, and trailers. The wheel is an aluminum wheel. It's very durable, lightweight, and rustproof.
And we mentioned it's the Margay series, which you can see as a five spoke design has a glossy black finish to it, but if you notice around the edge of the spokes, they do have a nice machine finish. And even on the outer lip as a machine finish, they give it a nice shine to it. They do use an automotive grade clear coat finish on the front to protect the wheel from scuffs and scratches. Now a few dimensions on the wheel itself, the diameter is 15 inches. The width on just the wheel is six inches wide.
Bolt pattern on this wheel is a five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. And if you wanna measure that on a wheel, that's an odd number of lugs. In this case, five. It's a little tricky, because what you need to do is pick either one of these holes, let's say this one, and you're gonna measure across to either this hole or this hole, whichever one. But the trick is when you measure it, it's from the center of the starting hole to the furthest edge of whatever hole you measure to.
So on this one, if you measured that it would be 4 1/2 inches. So that means it's a five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern. Does use a wheel lug size of a half inch by 20, and the weight capacity on just the wheel by itself is 2,150 pounds. If you notice, there is no center cap. It does not come with the center cap.
If you do want one, we do sell those separately. We wanna make sure to get a center cap that'll have the same diameter of this pilot hole right here. 'Cause when you install your center cap, it'll go through that hole. The diameter on this pilot hole is 3.19 inches. Now the tire that's modeled on this, it is a Westlake radial tire. It is constructed with double steel belts, double polyester pile for a nice long life. They do use a nylon tread firming belt overlay to help prevent tread separation. And it is a radial pile tire, so it's great for highway use. It is an ST tire, which stands for Special Trailer Tire, has the sturdy sidewall so they can handle heavy loads. And it is created specifically for use on trailers, not intended for use on any other vehicles. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, ST for Special Trailer 205/75R15. R means it's a radial. Section width eight inches. Overall diameter bottom to the top. When it's inflated, it's 27.1. The tire is a low range D, which means it's an eight ply rated tire, so it has a maximum load capacity of 2,150 pounds at 65 PSI. This tire wheel assembly does meet the DOT Department of Transportation specifications. Now this does come with a speed rating on the tire, and it's stamped on the sidewall with a letter designation. And where you'll find that is right after the size tire we went over two numbers. And then the letter L, speed rating L will mean that this is a 75 mile per hour speed rate at tire. Now they do offer complimentary roadside assistance for two years and flat tire services available 24/7 anywhere in the US, Canada or Puerto Rico. But that should do it for the review on the Westlake ST 205/75R15 radial trailer tire in a low range D, mounted on this 15 inch glossy black Margay series aluminum wheel with the five on 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.

After one year, these wheels and tires still look great! They support the trailer well and keep their pressure. I chose to keep them covered with RV wheel covers when parked. Still very pleased with my purchase.

Sorry to hear about the blow out, but glad we had something that matched almost exact to what you already have. Were you out on a fly fishing trip?
