Today we will be reviewing part number 115983. This is Redline's ubolt plate from 1 1/2" squared trailer axles with 1 3/4" wide springs. This is used with ubolts to secure the axle to the lead springs which are mounted to the trailer frame. It's going to attach with 2 1/2" diameter square ubolts. They are going to be sold separately. The 1/2" diameter is important because you want to make sure that the ubolt goes through the 1/2" diameter hole.
The 4 holes along the corners are going to be the same in diameter so you will need to get some ubolts. I'm going to recommend part number Sp01-120. Those ubolts are going to come with the nuts to secure them on the other side and it's going to fit this mounting plate perfectly. This does fit square trailer axles that are 1 1/2" wide. It will work with 1 3/4" wide lead springs.The overall dimensions of the mounting plate is going to give us a measurement of 5 1/4" x 3 1/2". That's going to do it for today's review of part number 115983.

Heavy duty compared to the original U-bolt plate that came off this old trailer. U-Bolts slid right in without the use of a hammer. Check out my review about the 1 1/2 U bolts though.
Worked great. I used them to construct a kayak rack onto my trailer.
Quality product, the only issue was the square U bolts didn’t line up exactly and I had to spread them open fit the hole pattern. But no big deal. Finding parts for replace the previous one was no easy task but you guys had everything. Thank you. On shipping however it seem as if the package only took 3 days to get to Vegas but took another 4 days to go 30 miles to me. I know it’s not your fault but thought I’d mention it anyways. I should have the parts installed soon and will update with photos of the installation.
fits great I wish there was a galvanized version, trailer sits by saltwater bay. I coated them with cold galvanizing spray paint see how long it lasts.

All of the springs and hangers were quality material. These parts were a lot heavy duty than I was expecting, and I was glad of that. I now have a light weight but strong boat trailer.
The above product I purchased from etrailer was perfectly described and exactly what I was looking for. it was said to be for a 1-1/2" Square Axle and 1-3/4" wide Springs which was exactly what I was looking for. I haven't installed them yet, but have dry fitted them if you will and should work out perfectly Thank You very much!
I purchased the 3000# axle springs and all mounting hardware to replace the old ones on my 1963 travel trailer. My trailer no longer leans to the left and goes down the road better than new. I should have done it many year ago. I received my package on time and installation was easy and fit perfect. Thanks Bridget

This part was very hard to find any where, but as always, etrailer came thru. The part went on an old Gamefisher trailer and it was a perfect fit. Now I'll be able to complete my project and get the trailer back on the road. The price was very good and finding the part on etrailer was very easy.
Well I can't believe it's really been a year since I purchased all the parts from Etrailer to rebuild my jon boat trailer. I bought this tilt trailer on craigslist and well let's just say needed some MAJOR TLC. From the roller brackets, fenders, tires/wheels, hitch coupler, winch, etc.. All the parts have held up extremely well and I am VERY happy with not only the quality of the parts but the customer service as well. This is my "GOTO" place to buy parts for all 3 of my trailers!!
The most difficult part was tightening the nuts to the point that the head of the shackle bolt was flush against the shackles and hangers. Afterward, I loosened the nuts a little. But, I don't know how much to loosen them.

I purchased this plate to upgrade the suspension on my trailer. I would get a a lot of trailer sway when I was towing my jet ski trailer. I bought the trailer used and never really looked at the springs. Unfortunately for me, There was nothing but one U bolt strapped diagonally across the spring. I'm no suspension expert but I knew this could NOT be safe. I did extensive research on trailer suspension. It was difficult to find parts for a 11/2 inch square axle. It was until I came across etrailer webpage. They had everything I required to upgrade and make my trailer safe to operate on the road. It was actually criminal what the person did to attach the original spring. I am greatful nothing ever happened while towing. Now with the new parts installed, I feel a lot better and my trailer does not sway anymore.
I will definitely purchase my trailer needs from etrailer from now on. The pictures and videos make finding what I needed so much easier. The complete transaction from order to delivery was extremely efficient and the customer service is absolutely outstanding!
