3/4" Hitch Pin with clip

Today we're going be taking a look at part number 346H, this is Redline's hitch pin. Hitch pins can be used for a lot of different applications. To see if this is best going to fit your particular application there's just a few different measurements that we can go over, that way you can determine if this is going to work for you. First one being the diameter of the actual pin. This is going to measure 3/4 of an inch. The amount of usable space this offers, we can get that by taking a measurement from the bottom of the collar to the closest point of that clip hole.
That's going to give us a measurement of 6", overall length measuring from end to end that's going to give us a measurement of about 7 5/8ths of an inch. The clip for the pin is included. It's got the nice oversized grip area right here, it's just going to help with the installation and removal of the pin from your particular application. This is going to be made from a steel construction and it's going to feature a zinc plated finish on it that's going to help it stand up well against rust and corrosion. That's going to do it for today's review of part number 346H. This is Redline's hitch pin with a 3/4" pin diameter. .

This long 1/2 inch tow bar pin was not carried by the brick and mortar trailer parts shops I have access to. After giving key dimensions to etrailer phone parts person she found a pin that not only works but is easier to use and lot lose than the OEM part. I live in the Florida Keys where salt air corrodes everything. Since I just received this pin I can't make comment on corrosion resistance

Item was just what I was looking for. Using to secure the adjustable arm of a bike rack. I needed a hitch pin that was a little longer than what came with the bike rack and I found this item searching the web

Hitch pin fit the new receiver perfectly. It was the final piece I needed after installing the Safety Struts for hauling items on the carrier attached to our trailer.
The pin works as it should. It is used on a tilt trailer and is a perfect fit. It would be nice if it had a cable holding the clip to the pin as the old one had. Another good purchase from etrailer!
The 1/2" x 3-1/2" Hitch Pin from etrailer works well to secure my EMP Kawasaki Mule SX Rear Receiver Hitch (12758) and my Garbage Commander garbage hook. It was difficult to find a 1/2" hitch pin that was a bit longer than 2-1/2". The EMP Receiver Hitch has a 2-1/2" square receiver with a 1/2" pin hole instead of the usual 5/8" pin hole. The Garbage Commander has the standard 5/8" pin hole. etrailer customer service was a big help in finding a pin that would work. Thanks!

Looking to make my hitch and receiver stronger for safer towing. I am looking for 3/4 or better hitch pins. This looks strong after receiving and welds look good. I wish it was made in US for i buy US made first always but it being made in India the qual. control is the best ive ever seen. Still looking though for a 316 S.S. made in US 3/4 hitch pin for added corrosion stoppage.

Year later, only reason not 5 stars is that no pin comes with a pin hole large enough for a hitch lock. It must be drilled out but manufacturer guaranteed no impact to weight bearing strength of the pin as this was for a gooseneck tube, my last one was stolen.
