Hi everyone. Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at the Pro Grip Weldon Trailer D-Ring Anchor. Rated at 20,000 pounds brake strength, this isn't going nowhere once you've got it professionally welded onto your trailer. It's a two piece design. As you probably know.
You just simply put this over on your trailer where you want it. You get that welded on both sides, and then you have a functioning D-ring tie down anchor point that's able to flip over like so. Obviously, that part would, again, be welded in place. And you have lots of ample space here to use. So, if it was fully pushed together next to this, inside, you got about two and a half inches.
As far as overall height on this D-ring, I've got about 4 1/4 inches from outside to outside. So again, folks, pretty simple design. It's stamped right on the metal. It's a 3/4-inch thick D-ring, 20,000 pounds brake capacity, compatible with straps, chains, and hooks. A great option for you.
