If you’re around water often, this light is made to handle it. The housing and lens are sealed together to form one waterproof unit, keeping moisture from ever reaching the electronics. Inside, a TecSeal urethane potting fully encapsulates the circuit board for reliable protection against dust and water intrusion. With an IP68 rating, it’s built for use in harsh environments where ordinary lights wouldn’t last.
Tight space? No problem. This round light fits neatly with a 3/4" diameter cutout using the included grommet. The recessed mount keeps it protected and out of the way. It comes with an 18" pigtail that uses a simple 2-wire design—just connect power and ground, and you’re done. At only 7/8" thick, it installs cleanly and stays secure on your setup.
Visibility from more than one angle makes a big difference for safety at night or in low light. This PC-rated light produces a 180-degree arc of red light that can be seen from the front and sides, so one unit can function as both a clearance and side marker light when mounted at the corner. It meets or exceeds FMVSS 108 standards for reliable signaling and compliance on the road.
Durability is built in from end to end. The circuit board uses military-grade construction for long-term reliability, while the UV-resistant polycarbonate lens stands up to sun exposure without yellowing or cracking. Combined with its impact-resistant housing and premium materials, this small round light keeps performing no matter what conditions you put it through.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real brief look at this submersible red LED mini clearance or side marker trailer light with grommet. Now this light is going to function as both a rear side marker and clearance light when properly mounted. And this features one red LED underneath a red lens. This is rated up to 100,000 hours of operation.
It's energy efficient, long lasting, and vibration resistant. As you can see, I shut my lights off here real quick just to give you a better demonstration of what this is going to look like in the dark. This is a wide view and I'm just gonna shine it on the wall behind me. And so hopefully you can get a good idea of what this is going to look like. Going back in for a closeup.
It's pretty bright for the type of light that it is. This is a PC rated light, meaning it produces a 90 degree angle of light on either side of its center line for a total of 180 degrees of coverage. This beam pattern can be clearly seen when you're standing directly in front of the light, as well as when you are standing on either side of the light. So rather than buying a side marker and clearance light separately, you can mount this single PC rated light at a 45 degree angle on the front corner of your trailer to act as both. This sealed waterproof light includes a durable polycarbonate housing and a UV resistant lens.
The circuit board is of a military grade construction and the urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting. This is IP rated at 68. Of course, this is 12 volt DC compatible. This is a two wire pigtail. You can see here on the other side, so you'll just hard wire this in to your application.
The wire length I measured before our time together is about 17 inches long. And this is a recessed mount installation with the included grommet that you see here. And installation's going to require a three quarter of an inch diameter cutout. This is about seven eighths of an inch thick. We do have a diagram of additional measurements of this light on our product page if there's some additional measurements that you needed that I did not cover with you today. This does meet or exceed FMVSS 108 standards. And this does have a limited lifetime warranty. Well, that's gonna wrap up our real quick look today. The RV clearance light are much better than original ones. They are brighter and set closer to the surface. I replaced 2, 1 red and 1 amber and they fit perfectly. Wire color code was different, but just touch wires together and if it lights connect it.

Product itself is great. I'm not familiar with trailer wiring, so if there is a standard wire gauge that is typically used that's on me for not knowing it, but it would be nice if it were included in the product description. Aside from that, I am extremely satisfied with my item.
More info on size of marker lights. Was replace 3/4 lights on a Tritons snowmobile trailer with clam shell on it. They work just not as bright as old lights.

Matched the bulbs in my shoreland’r trailer perfectly, the plugs were a different size. I just heat shrink soldered the new one on. Probably a better connection anyway. No problem
