Video Transcript for All About the LED Trailer Clearance or Side Marker Light

Hello neighbors. Today we're looking at our LED trailer clearance or side marker light, and it's a submersible two diode red color with a clear lens. Now folks, this rectangular LED mini trailer light does function as both a clearance light or a side marker whenever properly mounted, it's been sonically sealed, so the waterproof housing and lens unit is submersible. The LEDs make great replacements for your incandescent lights and they last 50 times longer on average. They're also more efficient. They provide brighter light with a lot less power output.

You don't have to worry about bulge or replace the brittle filaments that pop sometimes over bumps and stuff in the road, and it's got a nice durable polycarbonate housing and lens assembly. And again, it's a clear lens over the two red LEDs. It does work with 12 volt DC electrical systems and it simply surface mounts to the trailer. Now you will need your own hardware. You can see this side over here has the built-in ground already in place.

When you put that screw nut bolt or whatever through there, it's gonna ground it to the trailer frame, giving it the ground it needs. And then you simply just have to hook up a power wire. Has a nine inch pigtail here included with it. I've got it kind of plugged in here with this other alligator clip for demo purposes. And it's DOT compliant and it's also P2 rated if it's mounted vertically or PC rated if you mount it horizontally.

So I'm gonna go ahead and light this up for you and we'll even turn the overhead lights on and off here in a second to show you both ways. All right, so in the daytime, you can see nice bright two diodes. I turn off the overhead lights and I'm just gonna kind of flash it just to kind of show you and then back in the daylight. So again, nice little clearance light or side marker light here. This is again the LED with two red LEDs and the clear lens, has a lifetime warranty on the LEDs themselves and has a nice power draw of only 12.8 volts as 0.05 and 0.07 amps.
