When you need clear visibility behind you, the Great White LED backup light delivers. It packs 20 ultra-bright white diodes with custom-cut optics that throw a strong, even beam of light. Certified for backup light function in a 2-lamp system, it meets FMVSS 108 requirements and stays compliant in any 360-degree position. The white LEDs shine through a clear lens for crisp illumination so you can see obstacles clearly and others can see you.
Wet roads or full submersion aren’t a problem for this light. The housing and lens are sealed together as one unit to keep out water that can corrode circuits or kill LEDs. That waterproof build makes it just as reliable on trailers that see frequent launches or rain as it is on dry land. Once it’s installed, you don’t have to worry about moisture intrusion cutting its life short.
Forget about replacing burnt-out bulbs or dealing with fragile filaments. The integrated LEDs last up to 50 times longer than incandescent lights while drawing less power. They run cool, use less energy, and keep putting out bright light every time you shift into reverse. With no bulbs to swap out, it’s one less thing to maintain.
The rectangular light measures 5-5/16" long by 3-7/16" tall by 1-5/16" deep and installs flat against the surface using a flange or bracket. It only needs a small hole for wiring, keeping things neat with no complicated mounting steps. The 12" hard-wired stripped leads make connection straightforward, whether you’re refreshing an older setup or adding extra visibility where you need it.

Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a look at the great white LED trailer backup light. This is going to be a very bright light for your trailer so that you can see what's going on behind you whenever you throw the gears into reverse. It's just going to take two wires to connect into your lighting system. We'll have our yellow and black wire that's going to be for power, white wire for ground. Let's take a little closer look at it. You can see how bright this light is.
It's going to be an LED light, so it gives you years of service without any worries about having to change out any kind of bulbs. The housing and lens are made of a polycarbonate. It should be pretty durable to last for a long time and it is waterproof, so you can even use this on applications where you're going to be putting it underwater.Turning the lights out in the studio, you can see just how bright this light is. I'm going to pull it away from my table a little bit so you can see that it still illuminates. I have it all the way at arms width, and it's kind of hard for you guys to tell on camera, but I would say that this is definitely a very bright light.
It's pretty dark in my studio, but I'm able to see pretty much everything that's going on around me with just this one single light. So if you have this in tandem with another one, it should be more than enough light to see what's going on behind you whenever you put that a reverse light signal on.It's just going to be white LEDs, that clear lens. Again, just the two wires to connect. As far as dimensions for the size. Get my ruler here.
It's about five. about five and five 16ths inches long. So just under or just over five and a quarter inch. And then about three and seven 16ths, so just under three and a half inches wide. And about one.. Let's say about one and eight 16ths deep, including this kind of block back here.
So it's just under an inch and a half in depth. Maybe more like an inch and three eighths. We'll have a total of 20 diodes, and our wires coming off of the light measure out about 12 inches long. if we pull that all the way out.All in all, I think this is going to be a really nice light. It does meet DOT, ECE and ADR compliance regulations. It has a limited lifetime warranty, and should be a great addition to your trailer to see what's going on behind you.Hopefully this helps to answer any questions that you might have about this light. We do have a lot of options here at etrailer.com if you need any other additional lights for your trailer, and thanks for watching.
