Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this Peterson Replacement Red Lens. Now, this is going to replace the red lens for your 3 3/4 inch Round Peterson Stud Mount Tail Light, and this is going to fit the 428 Series Lights. And this is of a acrylic construction, so it's very strong and durable. It's going to hold up really well for you.

This is the direct replacement from Peterson, so you can trust that this is going to fit right in place of that original on your 428 Series Lights. You're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. Just to confirm the measurement here with you, as you can see, putting a ruler up to that, we're sitting right at 3 3/4 inches on that diameter. But I think that's going to wrap up our real quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

From the advertisement I wasn't sure if they were the correct lens but I got lucky and they fit perfectly. Although 'out of stock' when I ordered them, 'etrailer' shipped them as soon as they got them in. Excellent customer service.

It still looks great!

Perfect! Great product at a great price. Believe it or not these perfectly fit the 3-3/4 inch tail light on many vintage Italian motorcycles ( Moto Guzzi, Ducati, Benelli, etc.). They are a great replacement for the original CEV lenses. They obviously don't have the tiny original CEV letter stamping but the look and fit is excellent.

The lenses fit perfectly. They work very well and allow the lights to function properly. It would’ve been nice, if the red color was a deeper or darker shade of red. I really prefer a very dark red taillight color, but this would be considered normal.

Tail lights working fine after one year. No problems!

This was a straight forward replacement of old crack trailer lens. The only issue I had, it took 11 days for the item to get to my house. Anyone could have just dropped these at the post office and within 4 days been at my house. I really like etrailer and their prices, but small items like this, dude just drop it in the mailbox.

    The Peterson part number # 420-15 that you referenced is a replacement lens for the Peterson Round Trailer Tail Light # 431800 which has a 3-3/4" diameter. Although we don't have an exact match to this in LED we do have slightly larger sizes of round tail lights that come as LED. If you are wanting to go with one from Peterson then we have the LED Trailer Light # M826R-7 which has an overall diameter of 5-1/2" but the light diameter is only 4-1/4".     I do have an option for you but the GloLight LED Trailer Tail Light part # STL101RB most likely won't fit into the mount you have welded to your trailer. The actual outside diameter of the light is 4.25". The recessed portion behind the lens on the base is around 3.80" which I think is what you are asking for so I went out to our warehouse to confirm this for you.     Thank you for the images. It appears you have the Peterson Trailer Tail Light # 432000 on your motorhome. We do have a replacement Lens # 420-15 if only the lens needs replaced. I do not see that we currently have a replacement lens for the reverse light but you may be able to use the LED Light # UCL09CB which is 3-1/4" in diameter. You may need to create a custom spacer since this LED light is much thinner than the incandescent you would be replacing. .

    I recommend replacing your Incandescent Bulbs # DI79VR on your Peterson Tail Lights # 432000 & # 431800 with LED Bulbs # CM93236. There is currently not a LED light that will bolt in place of your current Lens # 420-15 on your tail lights. These LED bulbs have a 2,000 hour bulb life.
