Speaker 1: You're talking about . Speaker 2: Today we're gonna take a look at the Deka Universal Adjustable Battery Hold Down Crossbar. Now this part will secure your battery in your engine compartment. Fits all automotive and lawn garden type batteries. It is made of a fiberglass reinforced polypropylene, so it won't rust or corrode. And it is non-conductive, which means it won't cause sparks, short circuits or electrical drain.It does adjust.
You just pull it out to however wide you need it. And then just push it up so it clips on. So it'll adjust from 5-3/4", the narrowest, up to 8-1/2" wide. If you go all the way to the very end That would get you your 8-1/2" wide. It does lock in 1/8" increments.
And it does secure to your battery tray with conventional 'L' bolts or 'J' bolts, which are not included. But that should do it for the review on the Deka Universal Adjustable Battery Hold Down Crossbar.

Adjusts from 5-3/4" to 8-1/2" wide.I am very happy with the battery hold down even tho it is not installed yet but know it will work even better than the one on the other battery ( I use two battery's on my Samurai rock crawler.) I like the plastic one's because of no corrosion.

I ordered this item to hold down the battery in my lawn tractor. It has worked great and I haven't had any problems with it.
Worked great, used to replace fabric strap the broke. They are a little tricky to use but just take it easy while tightening them up and you will be fine.
Good sturdy and adjustable, works well.

still working great, had to change my batteries about 4 months ago, glad I had these.
