Recommended Tail Light Replacement Lens for Vintage Glass Lenses

Updated 01/09/2018 | Published 01/08/2018

Question:

I have vintage tail lights on my chopped car. I dont know what theyre from. They have cracked glass lenses. Id like to get two replacements and from what I can gather, glass is no longer an option. The lenses measure 3.46 diameter or 87.9mm. There are no screw holes as there is a chrome ring that holds them in place. Do you have anything I can use? If yes, how much are they? Thank you in advance.

If you just want a lens, I recommend the Peterson Red, Round Replacement Lens # 420-15 which measures 3-3/4 inches diameter and has two holes for mounting screws.

The only other options we have are the Replacement Tail Light Lens for ST24RB and ST25RB # A24RB which measures 4-1/4 inches in diameter. The The Optronics Red Replacement Tail Light Lens for ST51RB and ST52RB # A52RB is a 4-5/16 inch diameter red lens. Either one would need to be sanded down for the proper fit in your custom application.
