This GloLight Halo LED tail light puts out a crisp, red glow that’s easy to see day or night. The outer halo acts as the tail light, while the center LEDs handle turn and brake functions with instant-response brightness. With 22 diodes drawing just 0.295 amps for the tail light and 0.59 amps for stop and turn at 12.8 volts, it gives you strong, efficient illumination without the high current draw or fragile filaments of old-style bulbs.
If your trailer hits wet roads or gets backed into the water, this light is ready for it. The polycarbonate housing and acrylic lens are sealed to keep out moisture, making it fully waterproof and submersible—ideal for boat trailers or any setup that faces tough weather. You won’t have to worry about water intrusion fogging the lens or corroding the wiring.
Mounting is straightforward thanks to the integrated flange and recessed design. The light measures 7-1/2" wide x 3-5/16" tall x 1-5/16" thick, with a clean face size of 6-7/16" by 2-5/16". The flange gives it a neat fit against the surface without extra brackets, so you get a solid, finished look once installed. Hardware isn’t included, which gives you flexibility in how you mount it.
Moisture can cause real problems at your wiring points, but this GloLight solves that with a weathertight connector built into the back. It’s designed to seal out water and dirt where other plugs fail. It connects using adapter AL45PWTB (sold separately) for 3-prong setups and works with right-angle (A47PB) or straight (A45PB) pigtails if you need them.

This light doesn’t just look good—it meets all required DOT, FMVSS 108, and CMVSS lighting standards. That means it delivers reliable stop, tail, and turn performance that keeps your trailer visible and legally compliant on the road. With LEDs backed by a lifetime warranty, it’s a dependable upgrade that’s built to last.

Today we're reviewing part number STL111RFMB from Optronics. This light is in their GLOLight series. It's an LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light with a flange mount. It also has a weatherproof connector. You have a red lens over all the LED lights. You have a band of LEDs that go around in an oval like this.
You have in the center a row of LEDs that will serve as your brake and turn signal lights. I'll show you that in just a moment. This light uses surface mount technology. That protects the LEDs from moisture, shock, and vibration and distributes heat evenly. You have a poly-carbonate mounting flange built in, so that makes the installation very easy. This does require a weatherproof connector.
If you do not already have one, then you will need to get this part, which is sold separately. It's Optronics part number AL45PWTB and it's their three-wire straight plug and weatherproof connector. As you can see, it has a yellow rubber gasket around here that helps to keep it waterproof. You plug it into the back of the light and it has a little clip here that helps to keep it in there securely. As you can see, I'mpulling very tightly and nothing is happening.
You can be assured that that will stay in. The other end, of course, needs a power source. You want to plug that into your standard three-prong plug on your trailer. We have a three-prong plug here that's attached to a portable power source. I'm going to plug it into that. We will turn off the lights and turn on the power.
What you see there is the tail light. Here is your brake light and your turn signal. We can turn the overhead lights back on. This light does meet all the requirements of the Department of Transportation for automotive lighting. It measures 6 1/2 inches left to right, side to side, 2 1/8 inches tall, and it's 1 1/8 inch thick. There's a lifetime warranty on the LEDs and a three year warranty on the housing and the wiring. There you have it for part number STL111RFMB, the Optronics GLOLight LED Stop/Turn/TailLight with a built-in flange mount. .

Once I have these installed I will post an updated review. But my initial overview, this looks great.
The light is a match for my camper. I just wish it had wires to coonect to the light vice clips.
I absolutely love my new tail lights. They are extremely bright and I have recommended them to all of my friends with Jeeps!
Look great, no problems.
Very good quality, halo lightning looks fantastic. Definitely would recommend.
The boat trailer light I ordered is exactly what I ordered and it came fast easy to install works great thank you for your service
Optronics Are The Best
Replaced existing incandescent lights in an enclosed trailer. These LED’s are an excellent replacement, are highly visible, and good looking.
I use these for the front side marker/turn signals. I had to reinforce my frame to take them but it was worth it.
These GloLights are a major aesthetic upgrade to most other round-style taillights. Just make sure to get the correct back plug! "RMB" is the symmetric 3-pin and "RB" is the asymmetric 3-pin.
Easy quick process. The company I work for purchased a clement monstar end dump trailer and it came with these tail lights in my opinion they are the best they can be seen at anytime of day and in most weather and a cool design. Ever since I discovered these lights they are the only kind I use on my trailer
I have purchased scores of products online over the years, but this experience was by-far the best. Your website is well organized, well informed, and easy to navigate. The purchasing process went very smoothly, and the products that I purchased were competitively priced. The shipping and delivery was faster than estimated (and frankly, faster than I expected). The shipment arrived well packed, undamaged, and the contents were exactly as advertised. Thank you etrailer.com for a great experience...I'll be back to purchase again!
I really like these lights. I use them for my rear lighting and rear side marker/turn signals. I went out of the way to use these on my trailer which involved reinforcing the frame since I had to cut a large piece out to install them. Well worth it. They are bright and have a distinctive look.
These LED stop, turn, tail lights are an exceptional upgrade. They halo is a great feature and blinker lights are very bright! I truly believe these lights have made my unit safer!!!
Great lights, very bright. I like them because not many people have them and they're very eye catching. My only complaint, is trying to push them in place in the bumper with those rubber grommets, but that would be the case with any sealed light.
Excellent.. still super bright and working well. Your inventory is unsurpassed
Upgrading our 1998 Coleman Grandview, the old incandescent just seemed too dim.
Nice light, only suggestion would be to list some wiring options, was a bit confusing going from the old Bargman to the new LED.
But I read through the Bargman page here and got squared away.
Pic is LED before anchoring compared to the stock on the right. BIG improvement.
These are some pretty sweet lights. Very bright and attention getting. I am constantly getting compliments on them.
The High Points-
- I bought the standard 3 prong style, works just fine with a Truck-Lite plug and with a no name one I had lying around.
- When not using driving lights both the outer and inner lights flash for turn signal. Don't remember reading about that, but it's pretty sweet(at least for the people behind me!).
- All 4 arrived in excellent shape and with all lights working.
Now, for the only negative that I can come up with-
- 2 of the lights have what I think is a sliver of white plastic stuck between the outer circle and the cover. I'm guessing it's from pressing the halves together. They can't be seen until you're very close to them, but for a $28 light it's a bit disappointing for that to get past QA.
Regardless, I highly recommend these, they are very distinctive and so far I haven't seen anyone else with them. Can't wait to be able to afford 4 more!
These lights were added to my cargo trailer that I pull behind my motorcycle. These help to make sure that people see me when I am on the road. The lights were easy to install with the grommets and pigtails that I ordered at the same time. All the products worked together well and made the project easy to do. Love these lights and will buy more if needed.
Light was exactly what I needed. Came out of the box in excellent condition with grease on the connectors for easy install and water protection. Replaced my burned out light and it worked perfectly.
I upgraded the tail lights in addition to the back up lights. The old lights were incandescent bulbs and weren't really that bright. These new LED tail/brake/turn signal lights are much brighter so hopefully folks behind me will have an easier time figuring out what I'm trying to do while going down the road. Make sure you order the right pigtail connector when ordering the light! I failed to do that which slowed this project down by a few days.
These lights are exactly what I needed to fix my Mastertow dolly. Shipping was fast and the parts had the exact connectors and mounting screws to match.
I like these lights. They appear to be bright in the daylight. Can't ask for me. My trailer is from 1997 and they just plugged into the existing wiring.
Does NOT come with any harness or wiring diagrams
Light stopped working after 9 weeks. Verified connections and voltage into light were good but light had failed.

The easiest way to troubleshoot a lamp is to quickly swap it for the one on the other side of the rear of the trailer. If the lamp does not function at that point, its a sure bet its defective. If the lamp is defective, the LEDs are covered by a lifetime warranty.
