Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Optronics Round Fusion LED Hardwired Stop Tail Turn and Backup Trailer Light with the Red and the Clear X Lens. Now, this is a round trailer tail light. Has a nice, smooth, bright red exterior which will serve four functions. And we do have this plugged into some 12 volt power so I can show you those functions.
So if I turn the power on, you'll be able to see, you'll get your tail lights. Go ahead and turn off the overhead. There's your tail light function. And then, when you apply your brakes, you'll be able to see how that gets a lot brighter when your brakes are applied. And then, when you hit your turn signals, you can see that your turn signals will cause that to get brighter and flash.
And the last one I wanna show you is that center X lens. That is actually your reverse light or backup light. And if we hook that one up, you'll be able to see that when you go into reverse, you'll get the X lens all lit up and it's all white LEDs. There is a total of 20 LEDs on this. And again, there's your backup.
So we'll go ahead and turn back on our overhead lights. Go ahead and turn off our power. Now, this is an sonically sealed waterproof housing and lens unit, which makes it submersible. Does use durable SMT technology, which is the construction of the LED circuit board that'll better withstand shock and vibration, and allows for improved heat distribution. And as we mentioned, this uses LEDs, which make great replacements for incandescent lights.
They'll last about 50 times longer. LEDs are more efficient, 'cause they'll provide brighter light with less power output. And the big thing is there's no bulbs to replace or brittle filaments that are gonna break, and you do get a lifetime warranty on the LEDs. We mentioned it's a red lens that's set inside with this white X lens on it. So the red lens has the red LEDs for the tail light, and the clear lens has the white LEDs for the backup light. Now, to install this, it is a recessed grommet mount design. The grommet will go right around here. Now, the rubber grommet is not included. We do sell that separately on our website. It's part number A45GB. Now, this is hardwired and ready to install. You can see the wire length is about eight inches. And the wire configuration, the black wire is your tail. Your white wire would be your ground. Your red wire is your stop and turn. And your brown wire is for the backup. This is a 12 volt light. Last thing I'm gonna do is just give you the overall dimensions on it. So the diameter, from one end to the other, is four and a quarter inches. And the depth of it front to back is right about one inch deep. But that should do it for the review on the Optronics Round Fusion LED Hardwired Stop Tail Turn and Bckup Trailer Light with the Red and the Clear X Lens.

Good all-in-one lights replaced my old old incandescent lights. Really visible. Works great. Plastic housing seems like it could be susceptible to damage.
These work great and fixed the problem with my truck and its trailer management system. I was having issues with a cheaper set I ordered from another site. My truck's fancy trailer management system would think there was a fault and cut power to the trailer lights. I replaced the lights with these and so far so good. Thank you!

Added this to our Arcimoto that we converted to a flatbed. The electronics is driven by Pulse Width Modulation coding in an MRS Module and we don’t have the code. So we had to buy these with less draw (due to less LEDs). They work perfectly. The backups work perfectly (which it had none but the wiring was there). Probably the best lit Arcimoto in the world :) High quality. Fit in the grommet and bracket from another set of lights that had too much draw - so that shows these are very standard size. Pics show no backup, then backup. They are bright!
These are a perfect replacement for the old lights on my Aliner. Had them wired up in not time. The only thing that presented a problem is that they mount flush. This means that the wires have to line up with wiring holes on a camper. With an Aliner there is one hole for each side, but they are offset to the right. My solution for this is to make risers with cutaways for the wires to run in to the offset holes. I'm using plastic cutting board material to make the risers.
