Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Hydrastar Triple-Axle Disc Brake Kit. Now if you have a triple-axle trailer and you're looking for stronger, more reliable stopping power, especially under those heavier loads, this kit is going to upgrade you to a full disc brake set up. Now I didn't have room for the complete layout here, so on your screen I'm showing you an image of the entire kit that you're going to get. I have all of the brake lines and hoses here and the actuator, but I didn't have room for all six of the rotors, the brackets, and the calipers.

So I just wanted to show you that that's exactly what you're gonna be getting there, as you can see there on your screen. And again, I just have one set of the, or one of the calipers, the rotors, and the bracket. So this is really going to be a great upgrade for you, because, as you know, disc brakes give you more consistent, responsive braking compared to a more traditional drum brake setup, which is really going to make a difference when you're hauling something heavier. Now this kit includes this electric-over-hydraulic Hydrastar trailer mounted brake actuator. And let me give you a closer view of this.

So this is rated as 1600 PSI. And this features a durable, sealed, fully enclosed, extruded anodized aluminum housing case. And this is going to easily withstand the environmental and road demands. And as you notice here, we do have color coded heavy duty 12 gauge wiring here. That's going to make for easy and quick installation to your 12 volt DC system.

So this high quality actuator is included from Hydrastar. And durability is a big plus here as well. The rotor, the calipers, and the brackets are all coated with Dacromet and that is going to be especially great in those real-world towing conditions. That Dacromet coating is gonna help resist corrosion. So this is gonna be great, especially if you're around moisture, road salt or boat ramps.

So you see your Dacromet-coated rotor, the caliper. We have the brake pads here inside and the bracket here. And if you notice, this is a five bolt brake flange. And then our hub bolt pattern is six on 5 1/2 inches. And the wheel bolts, the wheel bolt sizes are gonna be half an inch in diameter. And from an installation and maintenance standpoint, this is designed to be pretty straightforward. The slip-on rotors and the open style brackets are gonna make future service easier. And then this kit also comes with flexible triple-axle brake line set up. And so you're going to get the brake lines that you see here on the side of my table. So you're getting all the brake lines and the hoses and the hardware that you need to get that set up in place as well. The hydraulic port size is 3/16 of an inch. And then, again, all the hardware that you're going to need to get this installed into place. So overall, this kit is going to be a complete corrosion-resistant disc brake conversion kit that's going to give you stronger, smoother stopping power, and it's going to simplify both installation and long-term maintenance. So if you're typically towing heavy and you want more control and more reliability of your braking power, then this is gonna be a great kit to consider for your triple-axle setup. And again, this is going to be rated for triple-axle trailers at 6,000 pounds per axle.
