Today we're going to review part number YR530R-5P. This is a Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller. This is a 3-inch wide wobble roller. It is designed to replace your worn out roller on your boat trailers roller bunk. This roller is constructed of a heavy-duty rubber. It does have ribbing on the roller.

The ribbing will provide additional traction for any of the boats slipper hull or slimy hulls. This roller is made in the USA and we'll do a few dimensions on it. The width again is 3 inches wide. The diameter is 5 inches in diameter. And this roller is designed to fit on a roller bunk with 5/8 inch diameter shaft and that should do it for part number YR530R-5P.

Excellent product overall. The center hole that wheel rotates on is a separate sleeve that is inserted in during manufacturing process. This sleeve distance is inconsistent to the outter edge of wheel causing in my application to have to measure and cut each spacer between each wheel. It would have been nice to cut each spacer the same for time savings but fine nonetheless. The wheels are a great product for it’s intended purpose I’m sure. It works outstanding for my application to make a lawn stripping kit.

I Like these rollers for my boat trailer, because the inner sleeve is slightly narrower than the original, which are also Yates 530R rollers. The narrowness allows the nut to be screwed on a little farther along the bolt. My old rollers' Bolts had rusted enough, that the bolts welded themselves to the rollers and couldn't be pounded out, so I needed to replace. Also replaced the original bolts & hardware with 316 stainless, hoping to prevent this problem from recurring.

Great, bought more earlier this year to replace the rest of them, along with the bolts. Now my trailer has all new stainless 3/16 hardware and 1/2 of the rollers are all new.

Four of these wobble wheels were ordered. Three are in great condition. The fourth wheel is missing an insert or sleeve, which reduces the axle size to5/8 of an inch. Please send the insert/sleeve or a new wheel and I will return this wheel in question.

I ordered 13 of these to build a lawn striper for my Toro zero turn mower, and I think it's funny that there are more reviews on these for that use than it's intended purpose. Will 5" and 4-3/8" Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller Fit CE Smith Universal-Fit Split Panel Brackets
Hey Hugh! Both the 5" # YR530R-5P and 4-3/8" # YR343R-5P Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller will work with the CE Smith Universal-Fit Split Panel Brackets for Boat Trailers # CE10500G. These are designed around a 5/8" shaft and the brackets fit 4", 5", 8", 10", 12" and 18" long rollers with a 5/8" diameter shaft. Realistically the brackets can be spaced at any length so anything under 18" will be fine. What kind of boat trailer are you working on?

Hardware Needed for Replacing Wobble Rollers on Boat Trailer
The shafts in your picture do look a bit rusty but most likely they will still work. But you have to inspect them all to make sure they only have surface rust. You'll also need the washer part # CE10982 and the retainer ring part # CE10981 to install the wobble roller part # YR530R-5P you mentioned.

Looking For Rubber Or Plastic Roller For Boat Trailer
Hello Darrin, thanks for reaching out. For our rollers that fit a 5/8" shaft I am not seeing that we have anything with exactly a 3" or 3.5" diameter in the center. I do have a potential option for you though. Take a look at the Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # YR5244-105EC. This roller is 5-3/8" long. The middle is about 2-3/4" diameter and the tallest part is 3-3/8" diameter. It will work with the 5/8" shaft. This would be the closest we have to what you are looking for. That or...

Replacing Wobble Rollers On An EZ Loader Boat Trailer
Since the Yates Wobble Roller # YR530R-6P you mentioned is made for a 3/4" bolt it may not be ideal for that application. Instead I recommend the # YR530R-5P which is the same 5" x 3" roller but made to fit a 5/8" bolt. Provided the current roller is the 5" diameter, our roller will be extremely similar to what you have now, minus the metal core.

What Diameter Axle/Shaft Does Roller # YR530R-5P Fit
The roller part # YR530R-5P that you referenced is designed to be used on a 5/8 inch roller like the part # CE10725A. The hole is a tight fit and is just slightly larger than 5/8 inch diameter.
