Looking For Rubber Or Plastic Roller For Boat Trailer

Updated 09/26/2025 | Published 05/05/2025

Question:

Hi, Im looking for a rubber or plastic roller for my trailer. Existing is a Stoltz RP8. My hull doesnt quite touch the roller. Im looking for roller that is approx 3 in diameter in the center of the roller. Do you also have one with a 3.5 diameter at center of roller? Existing has a 5/8 diameter center shaft. Thank you!

Hello Darrin, thanks for reaching out. For our rollers that fit a 5/8" shaft I am not seeing that we have anything with exactly a 3" or 3.5" diameter in the center. I do have a potential option for you though. Take a look at the Yates Keel Roller for Boat Trailers # YR5244-105EC. This roller is 5-3/8" long. The middle is about 2-3/4" diameter and the tallest part is 3-3/8" diameter. It will work with the 5/8" shaft. This would be the closest we have to what you are looking for.

That or the Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller # YR530R-5P which is a 3" wide 5" diameter plastic roller for a 5/8" shaft.

The link below will show you our full selection of rollers for a 5/8" shaft.

Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to help.

Hey Darrin, did you have a chance to try out the Yates Keel Roller or the Yates Ribbed Wobble Roller for your trailer? I'm curious to know if either option worked for your setup. Your experience could really help others looking for similar solutions!
