Question:
I know it says 5/8inch of an inch but is that the size of the hole or the size of the axel that goes through it? Im building a lawn striper and need to buy a 48inch steel rod as an axel. Will a 5/8inch fit or do I need 1/2? Thanks

The roller part # YR530R-5P that you referenced is designed to be used on a 5/8 inch roller like the part # CE10725A. The hole is a tight fit and is just slightly larger than 5/8 inch diameter.
