Thanks for the information Cesar. To add a hard tonneau cover to your 1993 GMC Sierra's Stepside 6' long bed, I recommend the Pace Edwards JackRabbit item # 311-JRC2576. This is a retractable cover made of aluminum and vinyl. It comes with clamps that will attach to your Sierra's bed rails without drilling to secure the cover.

The Pace Edwards JackRabbit item # 311-JRC2576 is a low profile cover that can be used in the closed or open position. The cover can be locked at 12" intervals if you're hauling something tall like a refrigerator or a toolbox. The cover is lockable so you won't have to worry about someone opening it up and stealing anything you keep in the bed.

Its mostly to secure my tools in the back. My truck is a single cab short bed stepside will those work in length its 79 inches

@CesarE Right on! It sure will Cesar. The Pace Edwards JackRabbit item # 311-JRC2576 will fit your Sierra's Stepside bed. The Stepside models only came in one bed length.
