The Trifecta 2.0 combines a soft cover look, a hard cover folding design, and an easy-on/easy-off mounting system for a truck bed cover that is both simple and stylish. The 2.0 features clamps that lock and are easy to install and remove, a strong frame and rugged hinges to support the cover, and snap-on rubber seals for better weather protection. This custom-fit tonneau looks sporty, shields your bed and cargo from the elements, and boosts fuel efficiency. You don't have to mount separate rails and clamps to your truck bed side rails. And there is absolutely no drilling required. No tools, no hardware, no hassle. And when you remove the cover, there is no indication that it was ever there. You can use your truck for work during the day and get a clean, sporty look for your night out. And you can quickly and easily remove the cover to transport large cargo in a pinch.
The secret behind the Trifecta's simplicity and versatility is the built-in clamps. These T-style clamps fold up and store inside the bows of the front and rear panels of the cover. Just pop out the clamps, pull them down, and hook them under the bottom lip of your truck bed's side rails. With all 4 clamps attached, the tonneau cover will remain securely in place.
Convenient Folding Design
The Trifecta's tri-fold design lets you easily access the rear of your truck bed. Just open the tailgate, reach under the cover, and undo the spring-loaded EZ-Lock clamps to release the rear panel. Fold the clamps back into the panel's bow. Then just lift the panel up to access the rear of your bed. The middle panel doesn't latch down, so it too can be easily lifted up.
When it comes time to haul larger cargo and you need to travel with your truck bed open, the Trifecta is versatile enough to let you do so without your having to remove the tonneau. Fold up the cover from back to front and secure it at the cab with the integrated buckles to free up two-thirds of your bed. For full bed access, just undo the Jaw-Grip clamps at the cab and lift the cover off completely. Then store it until next time. Note: You cannot drive around with only the rear panel open.
If the need suddenly arises to transport large cargo and you need full use of your truck bed, the Trifecta can easily be folded up, removed, and laid in your bed, giving you the ability to transport both your cargo and your tonneau cover at the same time.
To close the cover, simply fold down the panels front to back and reattach the EZ-Lock clamps on the rear panel. When your tailgate is closed and locked, no one will be able to get in to open the cover, thus helping to safeguard your truck bed and its contents.
Sturdy, All-Weather Construction
The Trifecta 2.0 is built to last and comes with a lifetime warranty. The strong, lightweight frame is constructed of aircraft grade aluminum. The frame and bows have a black powder coat finish to protect against rust. The rugged hinges are made of glass-filled nylon with protective padding.
The black vinyl skin comes permanently attached to the frame so you don't have to worry about any snaps coming undone or the fabric becoming untucked and blowing in the wind. The cover is sewn into the perimeter frame and corners instead of using the hook-and-loop strips found on other tonneaus. This integrated tuck system improves the appearance of the cover at the hinges and corners.
The skin is constructed of heavy-duty, leather-grain fabric that has been tested to withstand extreme heat and cold. The 4 clamps are made of sturdy, fiberglass-reinforced nylon. And rubber seals run around the perimeter of the cover to help keep water out of your truck bed. These seals snap on for a more secure fit when compared with seals that attach with adhesives.
Easy, No-Drill Installation
The Trifecta comes fully assembled and couldn't be easier to install. Just lay the folded cover across your truck bed, behind the cab, and then secure the front panel to your truck bed side rails using the built-in Jaw-Grip clamps. These clamps come pre-installed in the front bow of the tonneau and attach directly to the bed flanges so you don't have to modify your bed cap to install. The Jaw-Grip clamp limits the extent to which you can turn the T-handle to help prevent over-tightening and damage to the bed flange.
Once you've attached the front panel to your truck, fold the rest of the cover out and secure the rear panel using the built-in EZ-Lock clamps. Just pop the clamps out of the rear panel's bow so that they hang down near the side rails of your truck. Then pull on each clamp individually, maneuver the clamp so that it hooks under the bottom edge of the side rail wall, and release the clamp. The EZ-Lock clamp has a spring-action handle that is easy to use and automatically locks the cover to the truck when you release it. To release the clamps, just tug on each one and detach it from the rail wall. That's it - no drilling, no hardware, no hassle.
