When you need to haul something tall or bulky, the LiteRider rolls up in seconds and secures neatly behind the cab with Quick Clip straps. The soft cover peels back easily from the Velcro seals on the sides, and the aluminum bows keep the vinyl supported as you roll. Even when open, the bed rails stay clear for stake-pocket accessories and tie-downs, so you never lose the use of your bed.

Rain, snow, and dirt stay outside thanks to the reinforced vinyl flap at the tailgate and the double-coated UV-blocking material across the top. The cover stays flexible down to -40 °F and won’t shrink or fade under the sun. That means your gear stays clean and dry, and the cover keeps its shape and color season after season.
Keeping the vinyl tight is simple with the EZ-Dials up front near the cab. Just turn them by hand to fine-tune the fit—no tools needed. The result is a smooth, snug surface that won’t flap in the wind and stays sealed against the rails for a clean look and consistent protection.

Closing the cover automatically engages the AutoLatch, holding it firmly in place. A pull-cord release lets you open it one-handed, and the built-in slide lock adds an extra layer of security when you want it locked down. The system works with your tailgate, so you can open and close it without removing the cover.

The contoured black aluminum rails resist rust and mount inside the bed rails with aircraft-grade clamps. Those Tite Bite clamps grip tightly without drilling, keeping installation quick and solid. Sitting just 1-1/2" above the bed, the Slantback design looks streamlined and can even reduce wind drag—helping improve gas mileage by up to 10 percent.

Hi Lee, Thank you for your comment. The owners manual for the cover says that if the latch system doesnt engage, then the first step is to check the side rails for height and level, referring back to a step in the initial setup process, as well as inspecting the latches for jammed or broken parts.
