Ellen: Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement part for your Extang tonneau cover. This is going to be a fit for the Trifecta 1.0 and also for the Emacs tonneau covers. This is that hinge that goes on our cab side of the tonneau cover, so it's going to be that one that's closest to the cab. And it has a little bit more space here than the one that goes towards the truck or the tailgate on your tonneau cover. And this will work for either side.
It does not come with any hardware so you will have to reuse the hardware that came with your original piece. But if something happened to this, got busted, or is just damaged, this will be that direct replacement from Extang.So we can take a little closer look at it, we can see we have that foam piece there to give us some protection as our tonneau cover lays over the top of our side rails. And then the two ends are going to attach actually into our tonneau cover. And then that will let us open that up and flip it over into the storage position, so we can flip that all the way up into or against the cab, and then fold it back down to cover our truck bed.So pretty easy to install, you'll just need to take out the old hardware, the bolts going through there that hold it in place, reuse those bolts to put them back in and you should be good to go there. Replaces 1 cab side hinge for the original Extang Trifecta or Gator tri-fold soft tonneau covers.Parts fit perfect. Make sure you use the black screws from the damaged parts as spare screws do not come with it.
Thank you for carrying the tonneau cover hinge. It fit perfectly! If it hadn’t I would not have been able to use my cover. I really appreciate the speed of getting it to me.
I needed a replacement hinge for my tonneau cover. It came broken in the package. It looked like UPS dropped a brick on it. I emailed a pic to Etrailor and within minutes I had a response. They sent a new one and I had it in 2 days. Unbelievable customer service! Customer for life. PS. The part fit perfectly.
The fact that you offer an immediate follow-up to the small replacement part speaks volumes, especially in this day and time. I did have a questions which I left on Amy's voice mail.
Product was excellent, however I had to return the hinges as I needed multiple parts to repair my tonneau cover and it was more cost effective to purchase a new tonneau cover.
These hinges fit Gator covers. Such a w in!
While were installing the part, it broke. We did not bother to reorder. He is just driving around with a broken tonneau cover. Men.

I had no problem with the quality of the product. The challenge came in that I spoke with a representative before ordering the part, and it turned out to be the wrong part. When I went to order the correct hinge, it was out of stock.

I ordered the wrong size the first time, so of course I reordered the right size the second time. I never received it. That was back in November of 2023 and here it is February of 2024

You are the only one that came through. I lost track of how many places I placed an order. I had to follow up on each of them and finally gave up because they didn't even bother to return a reply. This particular part, fortunately, fits my american soft tri-fold topper as well as others. The part that I received fit my topper fine and is currently in service. Thank you. You saved my bacon because I was getting ready to go on a trip and needed it badly.
Bought a used bed cover with this piece broken so I searched the number on the broken part and etrailer.com came up. Just replaced it and it's a perfect fit.
