When you’re towing across long distances, you need hardware that can handle the stress. This base plate uses a sturdy design that spreads towing forces evenly to help prevent strain on the suspension. It’s made from durable steel and powder coated to resist rust and corrosion, so it stays solid and ready for miles of use.
If you like a tidy, factory-style look when not towing, this setup fits the bill. The hidden reinforcements leave only the attachment tabs visible, keeping the front end uncluttered and safe from knee bumps. With fixed draw bars and visible connection points, it blends strength with simplicity for everyday use.
You don’t need a welder to get this system mounted. The kit bolts directly to your chassis using the included mounting hardware for a straightforward installation. The layout makes alignment easy and gives you a solid connection you can trust at every hook-up.
The sturdy lugs pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a secure, reliable connection every time you tow. If you’re running other equipment, adapters are available separately—RM-031 or RM-031-5 for Roadmaster tow bars and DM9523041 for Demco tow bars—so you can integrate it into your existing setup without compromise.
The base plate spacing is 26-5/8" between brackets with a bracket height of 19". These specs make it easy to plan your tow bar alignment and ensure everything lines up smoothly before hitting the road.

it still looks nice and working as it should. i made it also double as a base to bolt up my winch. the bonus thing is when i need to tow it i can undo 4 bolts and take my winch off. i think you guys at e-trailer should consider making something like this as a option. i have pictures of it installed but how do i send them to you?
