When snow piles up or the road gets slick, these chains come alive. The rounded twist links form solid cross chains that dig in for excellent traction in deep snow while still giving you an adequate grip on ice. The twist design also smooths out the ride, cutting down on the harsh jolts that come with square or V-bars of the same size. You’ll get the forward bite needed to move up steep grades and the control to stop safely on downhill stretches.
Getting rolling from a stop in heavy snow or slush can be tricky. The ladder pattern on these chains gives you strong, consistent traction for starting and stopping. That design keeps your tires pulling straight ahead instead of spinning out. It’s a reliable setup that works especially well for climbing grades or keeping control when braking on icy roads.
Getting chains snug on your tires doesn’t have to be a struggle. The built-in cams let you twist each one with the included wrench to pull the chains tight and even around your tires. Once tensioned, they stay secure without constant readjusting. For extra hold, you can add optional rubber or chain adjusters (sold separately).
Winter roads can chew up gear fast, but these chains are built to last. Each link is made from low-carbon steel for strength and durability through repeated use. The 0.281" (7.1 mm) thick links give solid bite without bending or snapping under load. They’re designed for use on one axle, fitting either wide-base tires or dual tires on one side, and they come with a reusable canvas storage bag to keep them ready for the next storm.
Whether you’re heading through mountain passes or driving rural snow routes, these chains are a dependable backup for when traction disappears. They’re rated for speeds up to 30 mph and include two chains for both driver’s and passenger’s sides. When snow or ice hits hard, this set gives you the confidence to keep moving instead of getting stuck.

Couple of weeks after I tried them I found them discoloring and rusting. Only run them a couple of miles to try fitting, I believe it has cheap China coating. You get what you pay for. Have not used this winter because lack of snow in northern Indiana.

Hey Michael. I'm happy to hear that you were able to make it thru the ice and snow and get home safely. Stay warm out there.

Having heavy duty chains in the vehicle are the only way I take my F250 or Jeep Wrangler off road. My trips off pavement always involve hiking, camping, hunting or a dirt bike trail head in Central WA State. I didnt chain up for a nasty section of road last year in my ford diesel and ended up sliding into deep ruts in slick clay. I was high centered on my frame and only able to get two chains on the rear do to access. Between cutting some small logs to put under the wheels and those chains the truck drove out and I was able to get to where I wanted to set up camp further up the mountain. I try not to use chains but when you dont have another vehicle with you, you have to decide if you are going to turn around or go for it. If you go for it you better be able to get it out or it will be a long walk or wait for the next vehicle. I upgraded to a little larger tires Falkon Wildpeak AT3W and need bigger chains. I dont like the idea of adding links to existing chains because the coverage wont be as uniform and the possibility of creating a weak point. Ill probably get a set of DOT approved chains shortly for our Mountain Passes occasionally chains are required on all vehicles.
