Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Victron SmartSolar MPPT Solar Charge Controller. Now, this is the device that's going to sit between your solar panels and your batteries, and this is gonna make sure that your batteries are getting charged as efficiently and safely as possible. What makes this one stand out is how powerful and flexible it is. This can handle high voltage solar arrays up to 250 volts, and deliver up to 70 amps of charging current, which is gonna make this a great fit for those larger solar systems.

Think like off-grid cabins, RVs, boats, and serious backup power setups. This is going to automatically work with your 12, 24 or 48-volt battery system, so you're not gonna have to worry about configuring that manually. The MPPT technology is going to constantly optimize the power coming from the panels, which means that you're gonna get more energy out of your solar array, especially in those less than perfect sunlight conditions.
