Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at the Hellwig Load Pro 25 Progressive Rate Helper Springs with the Custom Mounting Kit. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 1994 to 2002 Dodge Ram 1500, 2500, and 3500 trucks. Also fits the 1977 to 1991 Ford F-100 and F-150 trucks, and the 1977 to 1997 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks.
And because it fits so many different vehicles, I do like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model of vehicle, and I'm sure if this will work for your application. Now, this Load Pro 25 Spring Set features a nice, full-time spring rate design, which is ideal for vehicles or fleet applications that consistently carry a heavy load day in and day out. They use progressive rate springs, which will adjust to the load on your vehicle for an improved ride. Won't affect your ride while it's unloaded. And these are custom helper springs.
They'll upgrade your factory leaf springs to reduce sway and body roll. They'll prevent sagging when you're towing or hauling heavy loads, and extends the life of your factory suspension, your tires, and your brakes. Now, these are three leaf helper springs which will flex with the factory leaf springs to limit any bouncing, while providing optimal stability. And they are very easy install. Basically, they'll bolt above your factory leaf springs, and the drivers and passenger side can be adjusted independently for uneven loads by just adjusting your U-bolts here.
It is a custom installation kit. It does include the mounting kit hardware, which is zinc plated hardware. A note I do wanna mention is, if your vehicle is equipped with a factory contact overload, it may need to be removed before installing these new helper springs. What I would recommend is consult your installation guide. These parts are a durable steel construction.
They do ensure long-lasting performance. I just wanted to zoom in on the finish. They do provide a nice, silver vein hammer toned powder coat finish, which besides looking good, will hold up well, resist corrosion. The brackets and even the springs have that finish to it. These parts are made in the USA. Specs, again, the weight capacity is 2500 pounds, and note that the Hellwig Helper Springs will not increase your vehicle's weight carrying capacity. So far so good! purchased these for my old supercrew to locally haul my 16'trailer dbl axle utility trailer loaded with my 3540 W/cab/loader/box blade. Most of the machine weight (maybe 6K) is centered over the trailer axles, but these helper springs do a lot for keeping the sag up and balanced.
